Titans will bump even if they are visually not touching. It is very very stressful to try to put titans in a POS, and even if you do, they bump themselves out of the POS after an hour or so -.-
Totally random and unpredictable.

EDIT: I'm also getting the message: "There was an error while validating your account, please try again" so fix that also please.

Bumping should incur damage IMO, relative to the mass of the ships.

Collide with something, you break.

Great, and this should also result in a criminal flag in hi-sec and the guy thrusting towards the other being concordokkened. Otherwise you just invented a new totally legal way of ganking Idea.

I hope you were not serious Blink.

You need to get used to Supercaps having a collision ball greater than the size of their model. This has been around since they have been and players have gotten used to working around it. Its part of flying them.

Don't look at the model in space, look at the distance in the overview to determine how close you are to anything.

Also,

Warping to 0 in a super cap may put you ~7km inside your own collision ball if you do this in certain situations.

Warping to gates seems to have been fixed this patch, but other ships and POS mods still seemed to work the old way. If you warp to 0, you will end up about 7km inside your collision ball. Warp to 10km and you end up about 3-4km from object.

Edit: There has also been an issue with passwords if you leave ships floating inside a POS bubble. Each of your ships share your POS password, so if the game resets it and you warp to a POS with floating ships, as soon as you land on grid, all your ships would be ejected from the POS.

This seems to happen only under certain conditions that don't always apply.

Its better to use a SMA or CSMA to store your ships. Don't leave them free floating in space. Less issues.

I've also found that while dual boxing carriers, when both carriers warp to gate at 0, occasionally one carrier bounces off the other and gets thrown out of gate range.

Same happens when fleetwarping 2 titans to gate. Took a while getting one of the titans back to the gate from 14km where it stoped. Imagine moving 10-15 titans at the same time.

isnt this just a classical case of how the engine renders thigns? Eve Uni did a very interesting talk on this at the last fanfest...

Explained it all very clearly and concisely...

And last but not least, dont leave your supercap in space with no pilot in it? Easy way to get on an ALOD that way...

No-one capable of registering an Eve account, and posting on the forums, is dumb enough to think that collision damage in Eve would be anything but a horrible, horrible idea, with the scale of eve, and the desire of players to destroy other's ships without consent. Not to mention 2 players coming out of warp from a gate at the same time to the same place, just as a result of timing, would cause losses.

Clearly you don't spend much time in the Features & Ideas section. It gets suggested pretty regularly as a "fix" to miner bumping and also as a new way to attack someone.

Speaking of Features and Ideas, that's the place for these ideas! Also, as much as titan bumping may anger you, forum thread bumping is against the rules! Locking this thread, please EVEmail me if you would like it moved to F&I, but I would recommend joining one of the existing threads that you describe on the topic.
