Buy this game NOW! Even in Alpha its the best DAMN FUN I HAVE HAD in the past Months!

Survive the Zombie Apocalypse in a world where everything can be destroyed and moved around!

I just found out about it randomly, and since the past week I just cant stop :) , got it for 16$ off Steam offer and can honestly describe it as a mix of Minecraft with Zombies and a Survival game.

Even in the most raw Alpha state it is now, its a solid game, so far I have managed to live past the 7th and 14th day horde that spawns at night, no cheating default settings in Single Player, my favorite mode. It also works Multiplayer but seeing people around loling all the time kinda detracts from the atmosphere for me. Single player it is bliss, specially the sound, I am always jumping at things I think I see far or weird noises. Highly atmospheric and for an alpha it runs flawlessly on my 64 win 7 core I5 with a crap GTX280

Zombies in the day behave like Romero Zombies, in the night they become feral like 28 days ones, it´s amazing!

You can stealth up to try to avoid their attention, have to find food, shelter and a place to spend the night, since at night you cant see crap and all zombies become lethal killing machines.

The thing I have enjoyed most so far is the survival aspect of it, zombie games are dime a dozen, but this one I have to share with others, have managed to entice most of my steam friends to buy it.

And it will get better, but to be honest, even in Alpha as it is now it´s superb, and the biomes are amazing.

To top it off, you can literally build anything out of in-game world materials, in almost any shape or form. There´s something for everyone in there, and base building becomes a priority.

Every 7th day and subsequent 14 , 21, 28 etc until the 49 you get attacked by a mega horde of doom . You are never safe.

You have to make your own bullets, cook your food (food smells and attract zombies), scavenge for parts all over the place and the maps both Random and default Navezgane have a lot of interesting POIs like Military Bases, abandoned shacks in the middle of nowhere, police stations etc.

I just love random maps , they are almost endless and zombies everywhere, love exploring them, specially when you are low on food and HAVE to eat something, what I found funny is that drinking water directly without boiling it gives you dysentery and falling can sprain or even fracture your legs, reducing movement severely, you even need to create a splint to help you heal faster!

Anyway a heads up for the game, try it!

Cheers!

No Battleships!! Sad

I did spend all day building a complex, shooting zombies, and generaly messing around with the creation kit/cheat kit. Until it started taking 30 second just to turn me view.

I like Random McNally.

7DTD is a fun game, and pretty playable for an "alpha" state game.

It can be quite the challenge to build yourself a good zombie bunker, as long as you avoid exploiting some of the AI issues.

7.2 CAN I AVOID PVP COMPLETELY? No; there are no systems or locations in New Eden where PvP may be completely avoided. --Eve New Player Guide

hmm logged in earlier, and the water blocks i put down yesterday are now floating some 30ft up..

Aslo saw a good vid on tube, about a gravity defense from zombies. make a gravity moat around your base by digging down to the bedrock (60 blocks) and 3 block wide.

I like Snow.

The Pitfall defense is awesome, friend of mine has a not so deep setup where he opened holes in the ceiling for an underground chamber he dedicated to farming, so he can farm underground of sorts, since crops need sunlight, so he mixed his underground farm needing shafts with falling traps, it´s hilarious Big smile
