screwed by ccp?

So first of all im not claiming that ccp screwed me over maybe its a mistake or bug or whatever.

But yesterday I took advantage of a special offer that was advertised in the eve launcher. This special offer let me create a new account and buy 6 months of game time (180days) for 50€ instead of the usual price.

so i created the accound, payed the price via pay safe card and tried to log in to my new account in order to create a new char and get started.

However a window poped up which told me my game time had expired and i should add gametime to my account.

Naturaly i wrote a petition but in my experience those tend to take a very long time to get answered if they ever get answered.

I hope you guys can understand now how this topic came to life because it really feels like ive been ripped of.

Maybe you can help me with this issue or have any tips what steps can be taken from here. Every help is greatly appreciated.

From technical standpoint, there is nothing to suggest other than the good old "clear cache and try to log in again" (both launcher and game cache).

You can also check the account status if you log in to the account management page. If there are "0 days left" listed there, then no one except CCP can help.

Regarding anything else, players simply do not have tools to help you regarding billing issues other than suggesting to open a support ticket. Smile

in the account managment pasge under accounttype there isn anything written down. not how much days i have left or that its a paid account. this sucks because they sure were quick to take my money but when it comes to getting the product that i bought time seems to be of no concern.

Retrace your steps and compare them to the instructions given for the special offer and find out where you made a mistake. Just assume it was your fault because there isn't anything you could do anyway if it wasn't.

If it was a CCP error they will most likely credit you any lost time you weren't able to access the account, so don't scream too much.
If it was your error, CCP may even still credit you the lost time out of their good will.

Either way CCP answer thousands of petitions daily.

im aware of that which is why i asking the forums calmly. i just hope that the support will answer rather sooner than later

No, i can not help, however i had a very similar case, when i bought 6Plex.
No use to write in the forums, petition it to CCP.

After petitioning it took a while, until i finaly got an answer, my case was resolved and the PLEX could be redeemed by me.
