Because its change and its a good thing so many are against it. If people just went with every idea it wouldn't go over well but with people who are against things just to be against them it helps form discussion

Look- if one person has a cap in hugh sec, countless others will too- ad rest assured, if someone is seen missioning in a carrier or something ridiculous, others will either wardec them or gank them with a fleet of suicide battleships- I could see DPS Blaster/Drone paper Dominixes being used extensively- they're cheap but can do upwards of 1600 DPS.

But as for Capital modules, I see no need to go farther than this:

Make Capital rep and energy mods, along with Seige and Triage, give a suspect flag. Then players run a big risk- they'd be stuck in one place with countless others readily coming after them and shooting them. There's no need to 'ban' the use of such things in high sec. As for an explanation, CONCORD probably wouldn't like things like that and would turn their backs on anyone who chooses to use them.

Of course, Doomsdays and Remote ECM Bursts should be illegal, meaning you can't use them unless you go criminal. And I doubt many people would be willing to use a suicide titan.

Capital ships in high sec could and should really shake things up- I can see a lot of fun being had, and I really can't see any reason to not entertain the thought at all.

I cant see anyone missioning in them in highsec given the acceleration gates and near certain penalties
Also suicide battleships? Haha yea right, your looking at ships with 2m EHP + before rep nobody wants to pony up a massive fleet of domi's just to gank a carrier or a dread on the off chance that it probably will fail, especially given they have 20 seconds tops given CONCORD response times

Wardecs for sure no doubts about that whatsoever but ganking them is too unconventional

Now, I'd love to see what kind of dps the concorduken has, one problem with my wanting to see caps in highsec is their use in wars. slowcat fleets would have nothing on the wargriefers camping undocks.

Use the force without consent and the court wont acquit you even if you are a card carryin', robe wearin' Jedi.

CONCORD can and will one shot a Titan. I've tested it myself,I don't own caps anymore but using an alt I gave CONCORD a test drive so to speak on SISI. CCP doesn't trust the players in this regard, someone somehow can and will use new content to get supers into hisec, recall wormholes? CONCORD was set to deal with the eventuality someone brings a Titan into hisec to gank people and I'm not putting it past someone to already have a Titan in hisec.

Speaking of this,a few years back during an AT CCP was streaming live video of Jita 4-4 undock during breaks, anyone remember which AT this was? I ask because my wife and I were watching the AT and during the break I went to get a beer and she called me back to point out someone had undocked a Nyx from 4-4. So yeah a Nyx,imagine what else may be docked there that we don't know about!

I'm ok with caps in hisec, the common caps won't be anything special and no one with half a brain will dare bring an " engraved invitation" into hisec. It's hard to keep supers alive when coalition allies cannot help without a formal declaration of war, harder still when doomsdays ,bubbles and the like cannot be deployed though this is entirely speculation.
