So that is last year's event. Just came back from this years with the family. Bought some Mead of all things. They say, don't drink and EvE but yeah...it's happening. oh yeah..it's happening.

So how about those changes.

Honestly, it's really not gonna change much. People over react (which they have) with threads like "refund my SP" or "I'm unsub'ing because of this".. blah blah whatever. Biomass and give me your stuff...please.

People will adapt. Plain and simple. People will adapt. The stars and moons have not aligned, this is not gahena (for anyone that played Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines), the world will not end and EvE will not die.

Take any upcoming changes regarding Sov. It doesn't matter what CCP changes because the current situation is player attitude.

What if they adopt a "use it or lose it attitude" for Sov?

The null sec alliances will show activity at the choke points claiming those systems, then state that any system beyond belongs to them too. Any renters become the "owners" of the system they are renting but it doesn't matter. The real owners are the alliances collecting the rent and everyone knows it. They have the resources to have a stand by fleet at each choke point, and really the current setup is based on player/player interaction anyway. The blue doughnut will remain. People will simply adapt. These changes affect both the defender and attacker alike.

Anyway, as a high sec dweller, it doesn't really mean anything to me and I'm curious how it'll turn out. However, if you plan on quitting over change that haven't even come out yet...don't. People always overreact to the stated changes and when they finally happen, it's one of those "that not as bad as I thought" moments.

Now if you excuse me, I have a L4 to run, a Cruor to lose. and maybe some praying to the porcelain god to do. :D

Anything purporting to be mead is usually so watered down that you might as well just drink Kool-aid.

Consult some homebrew books and make it yourself. Seriously... mead doesn't "mass produce" well at all. Neither does beer... but hey, some folks insist on using corn syrup for everything. ;P

your drunk words are better than most peoples words. and yea on this first move I don't know if I see a whole lot changing, but it should make any later changes even more powerful.

If anything makes me angry. It's that people are not using armor bonused ships for armor.

First there was that tacyon and ancillary shield boosted hyperion, and now people in incursions are mentioning that to do scout sites without logistics, just fit up a few passive shield myrmidons. I mean WHY!!!!

Maybe this explains why almost all my pvp experiences involve the other people ancillary shield boosting everything and kicking my rear with it. I must've trained the wrong empire.


Edit: Do people often throw armor tanks on shield bonused ships?
