it might not be the first time someone asked this but well... pls bear with me
after completing the carriers missions I went to amarr where I did nothing but station trade till I got to 45 mil I bought vexor and trained for it and for drones and shields and trade. I kinda didn't do any combat and don't even know how to fit my vexor for missions. trade is becoming a little boring with all those 0,01 people at amarr
pls help me with a fit and possibly some urgent skills to train I hope to begin missions in a day in my vexor
thanks advance

I would seriously take a step back.

Look at the mastery for the vexor in the ship info. Train for that. In the mean time though, get a tristan or an algos to run L1/L2 missions in.

Also, someone can correct me if I'm wrong but you should train for armor tank instead of shield tank with a vexor.

There was never any reason to wait, especially just to do some missions, of all things. I can't give you a fit because I'm at work right now, but I can give you a link that may be helpful- http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Vexor

Check that one out. A word of advice - you will find that the answers to most of these sorts of questions are readily available on the Internet with a little bit of searching. You will also eventually come to realize that as a new player, you can get started on pretty much any career path right away, with only a few hours of training at most.

I would encourage you to fly boldly, and start right in doing the things you want to do in the game. You will make mistakes, but who cares? It's just a game - dust yourself off and try again.

Uhm, as you will start with missions...you will start with level 1 and/or 2...pick the drone frigate (Tristan) and learn with that. Then when you feel confident, move into the Algos (destroyer) and once you have a feeling for that, move to that Vexor you have.

Why, because if you take that Vexor out with no experience, it will likely go boom in a mission. Hell, maybe that Tristan will go boom, but at least it won't cost you as much to replace and it's always too to minimize losses as much as possible.

As for skills:

Drones
Tank
Core

Can never go wrong with the last 2 in that list.

As for fit, no idea because I find drone-based ships boring.

p.s.

6 days (if this is your main) is FAR from enough time to even think about flying a Vexor...

Hell with that time, you aren't even a good skilled frigate pilot.

I'd probably start lv1s in an algos, as it is pretty much just a beefier frigate for what level 1 contain. The slower speed and higher sig radius aren't really draw backs in that environment.

as for fit, drone damage mods in the low, afterburner (or MWD) and shield tank in the mids, and whatever guns you can fit in the highs.

Hello and welcome to Eve.

I can't really help you with ship fitting since I only fly Minmatar. However I can post some important skills that will help increase ship attributes as well as make it easier to do fit ups. There's other skills that will help as well but these are the basic ones.

*Core Fitting Skills*

Power Grid Management - To maximize powergrid.
CPU Management - To maximize CPU.
Capacitor Management - To maximize Capacitor.
Capacitor Systems Operation - To maximize capacitor recharge rate.
Energy Grid Upgrades - To reduce power modules CPU requirements.
Electronics Upgrades - To reduce sensors & co-processors CPU requirements.
Mechanics - To maximize structure.
Hull Upgrades - To maximize armor.
Shield Management - To maximize shield.
Shield Operation - To maximize shield recharge rate.
Shield Upgrades - To reduce shield upgrades powergrid need.
Navigation - To increase ship velocity.
Acceleration Control - To maximize Afterburner & MWD speed.
Afterburner - To reduce Afterburner duration & capacitor need.
Fuel Conservation - To reduce Afterburner capacitor need.
High Speed Maneuvering - To reduce MWD capacitor need.
Evasive Maneuvering - To increase acceleration & agility.
Weapon Upgrades - To reduce turrets and launchers CPU need.
Advanced Weapon Upgrades - To reduce turrets and launchers powergrid need.
Repair Systems - To operate best armor/hull repair modules.
Warp Drive Operation - To reduce capacitor need for warp.
Spaceship Command - To increase ship agility.

Good luck to you. Hope you have a long and rewarding career here in Eve.

As people here have already said, much better to master the basics and learn the hard lessons in a frigate than pay the cost in a cruiser.

I fly Gallente ships, so you need to look at Drone skills, Hybrid guns and armour (not shield) skills. Master the Tristan first before trying to jump into something bigger.

use the info tab and look at mastery, lv5 mastery may seem a little daunting, but lv3 is relatively painless. After the Tristan work up to the Algos, which is the destroyer drone boat, master this and you should already have the skills you need for the vexor except from medium hybrid guns. After that its a case of perfecting skills and working on getting T2 modules for your fit.

Hope this helps, remember getting blown up is all part of the learning curve, better it happens in a nice cheap frigate.

The Pro Synergy Pilot is not just a fighting man, he is a salvage expert. If it is lost, in the blackness of space, he will find it. If it has been destroyed, he will loot and salvage it. If it is in his way, he will move it. If he is lucky he will be podded 20 jumps from home, for this is the closest he come to being hero.
