Simplify Capital fuel consumption -OR- indicate max LY in fuel hold

Set all capitals and super-capitals to consume a specific amount of fuel every time they jump. The fuel consumed is rounded up or down depending on distance.

Reason for this change? I shouldn't have to use a 3rd party jump calculator and code in my skills to figure out my range and fuel costs.

Example 1: I jump my archon 1 LY. It consumes 100 isotopes. I jump 2 LY. It consumes 200 isotopes.

Example 2: I jump my Swaglfar 1.6LY. It consumes 200 isotopes (1.49 and lower LY rounds down, 1.5 and higher LY rounds up.)

--- OR ---

Just add an indicator specifying how many LY we can travel with the fuel we have in our fuel bay.

Reason for this change? I can instantly tell how far I can go until i run out of gas. Cars since 1910 have had this feature, why not advanced capital class vessels thousands of years into the future?

Example: I need to move my archon 15 LY. I check my fuel bay window and it indicates I only have enough fuel for 12 LY. I am happy to find this out BEFORE going 80% of the way and running out of gas.

Even more simplification? Are you an Angry Bird player, by chance? Roll

You already know how far you can jump with the fuel in your bay by simply multiplying your consumption (which is stated in the info window of your capital) with the planned LY range (which you can find in the Capital Navigation window). Or by using jump calculators on websites like Dotlan. If players can't use their brains to calculate, these players should not play EVE.

In fact, you don't even have to calculate anything because the fuel consumption for all possible destinations is already listed in the Capital Navigation window.

As of late, I have to admit that this strive for more simplification really agitates me. Roll

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Unflatten your space map, you'll be presented with a nice big shiny bubble indicating your jump range.

(which after this coming patch will be approx. 2 meters)
