So? Explain to me why I trained Jump Drive cal to 5 on multiple chars while it no longer matters? That is a near 2 month train per toon.

I haven't entirely enjoyed all of the Greyscale changes in prior releases, but this one is magnificent (with some cleanup needed, of course, but overall the ideas are wonderful). +1, would Greyscale again.

I love this whole "We will shut our accounts down." PERFECT, all of the null alliances will colapse and decent into a free for all chaos, truly opening null sec up to the rest of the Eve populus ... This is amazing.

Make jump fatigue effect an order of magnitude less for subcap pilots, allowing BLOPS gangs to act when they wish.

If you really must, limit that to black ops capable ships. Extending it to subcaps generally would be a poor idea.

I love these changes, keep up the good work!

I have 2 suggestions though...

1: If Capitals use Stargates, make them use fuel...

2: Consider logistics and ease the distance on them. Or a new Freighter would be good...less cargo with longer ranges!

a timer yea, A range nerf yes but a timer that increases is just to much. Why dont u add a system like the current DD has.

You hit the ''jump module'' and you get the same menu as now, and then it simply counts down, Same as a DD and then when its done you can jump out again.

CCP Greyscale here is what your 1 sided changes fail and will kill the game:

1- EVE has too much waitign around as it is, is more a facebook game by credits than an MMORPG, need tow ait for everything
2- You touch Capitals but you dont have the intestines to mess with the CFC jumpbridge network so you dont nerf CFC power Projection
3- You kill the gameplay for the big part of 0.0 people that actually play the game cause of the capitals and supercapitals
4- The Sysytem is double comboluted with an amalgam of different timers instead of it being clear
5- You do a double nerf at the same time limiting the range tor etarded numbers and adding a stupidly long cooldown instead of tryign 1 thing first

In any non backward company you would be isntantly fired, ther ein iceland and with your current CEO everything goes i suppose.

No. This is exactly what you want to incentivize. If a coalition wants to jump in a large fleet, you want them to have to send in an expeditionary fleet first, which is more vulnerable than just a single cyno.

Downside to that would be that for a small entity owning a super or 2 they'd have to put a carrier on the line just for logistical movement of it.

So Null sec is Broken right now...yeah. What should CCP do? Break it much more to a point where people won't even play the game no more so no complaints! Perfect Cool

I guess ill move my super into a region and mark that my final nail into the coffin when it unsubscribes...hell fixing nullsec is actually more effort then just breaking it to a point where it becomes complaints both ways so i guess lets go with the easier way Big smile

Somebody was nice enough to make a spreadsheet showing how absurd this change is (that somebody was not me).

Just to go from Deklein to Delve would create a jump cooldown of 2700 YEARS!!

This basically stands to make capital pilots become useless basically forever after a certain amount of jumps.

0wl, I would agree that some people may want to come back when they hear that force projection by long-distance jumping is being nerfed. Are you sure they will still want to come back when read the details of what they will have to work out if they ever wish to jump anywhere?

This has got to be one of the most idiotic things I have ever seen done to this game.

How about doing this instead.

Make New Eden Bigger, as in spread out the distances between the systems more to give it the appearance of actual space instead of the shoebox you think we live in?

Yes, my ship gets tired or my UNDYING CHARACTER GETS TIRED of using a jump drive.

Really? WTF.

Just nerf jump drives to 5LY max range and leave the fuel as is so it's even more expensive for smaller corporations and alliances to 'force project' while the really large alliances keep horfing up moon goo and don't care about the cost of fuel etc.

Jump fatigue affects people taking bridges from what I understood.
