Sorry I cant understand you put work into, what does not need to be changed?

The new cloaking effect is in my view a lot to conspicuous, flashy and kitschy.
In short - it looks frightening from bad. Cry

It looks like water, after every jump it reminds me of an submarine. Cry

Really scary CCP!

Didn't you know your ship is underwater anyway?

This is a stealth cloak nerf. Blink More to come in that regard.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

I've been waiting for them to bring the old cloaking animation back for years...

Oh no something changed that has absolutely no effect on game play (yet) but I don't like it. Quick, to the ***** and whine mobile!

Will I get banned for boxing!?!?!

You cannot be ****ing serious. It doesn't affect anything, and neither does this thread. Can we get on with life and let this die now?

It's easier to tell which direction your ship is facing with the new effect. There is literally no reason to like the previous over the new version.

Supported. This new effect looks really ugly at least for me. I am not certain if this is a bug - I am filing one as well to track.

Details:

I am running a high end system with GTX Titan and fairly recent 340 series NVIDIA driver. The new cloaking effect is quite ingenious, but unfortunately there is a graphical bug here that makes it game-breakingly ugly for me. I have shaders (and all settings) maxed.

The problem seems to be that the hexagons are rendered sometimes in very large size compared to the ship making it look more like graphics corruption rather than a pretty effect. These then pop back to a finer hexogonal mesh which looks fairly fine (though I would personally prefer if it was even finer, or not have these hexagons at all). Occasionaly (say on moving or warping back or decloaking) the shaders pop back sometimes to the large hexagons which is really visually disruptive and ugly.

Please see the screenshots below:

Just on cloak up - hexagons are huge and ugly on my viator : http://prntscr.com/4rykyi
After cloak animation completes - size drops and looks better : http://prntscr.com/4ryl4m
On moving to a station : http://prntscr.com/4rylgp <- this one is really bad!!!

Please consider providing an option to disable this specific effect without me having to turn down my shader setting for everything else while it is being looked at?

At least you got hexagons; mine displays as a 2D grid of "u"-shaped squares.

Yes, it looks quite crude, and stupid in the regard that the squares stay the same size regardless of zoom...

Shouldnt the art team be redesigning the domi or something? Maybe station interior recolor finally so that we have more than four?

It does not make sense (in my view) to use this homicide argument. To make something new does not mean,
its now better. Okay, the new cloaking effekt is clearly a matter of taste - for me its a huge step backward, for me
is the new cloaking effekt the past.
