Any other noob help chat channels?

I've just lost access to the Rookie Help channel, but I still feel like I have so many questions and people were so nice answering them there. Is there any other such chat channels I could join for help in the game occasionally?

Sort of along the same lines, is there a listing somewhere or a search option for various types of channels? Right now all I have are local and corp (and since I'm still in a NPC corp basically that tab is always silent). I don't really know how I'm meant to meet people and such in the game other than in chats. So...more options would be nice. :)

Hello Syssitia,

You can join the main 'Help' Channel. There are many veteran pilots in that channel as well as an ISD:STARs in that channel as well. To do this just open press the Chat bubble at the top right of this window and then go down to the help catagory and click on Join Help (English). Or just type in Help and hit join channel.

There is regular 'Help' channel.

You could try local chat (unless you are in Jita).


And there are plenty of publically available community channels that are made by players (but keep in with player channels - they are moderated by players and thus your milage may vary. Some are good, others are moderated badly).

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

I'll definitely check out the main help channel. I didn't know there was such a thing. As soon as this darn thing finishes patching. *eyes massive download*

My public channel is always open for new players - I consider it a "safe zone" for "dumb questions". There are several others you can find if you poke around. "Help Chat - Reloaded" is another I believe. Someone may correct me on the spelling. The tone of each will vary, depending on the people involved and how it is moderated.

Help chat - Reloaded is a good channel that is fairly active at most times of the day with a wide selection of both vets and younger players.

Plenty of small talk, dont be afraid to participate or throw your questions into the mix Smile

Hello!

I have gotten much help and assistant from Help Chat - Reloaded.

Getting a realistic sense of the game and its many aspects came from my experience in this chat. The game is dangerous - and that is the fun - the game is full of depth and you can always learn even months in... the chat is also fun and not crowded!
