Better mousetrap, and all that.

If someone could figure that kind of thing out with any certainty, they'd be Bill Gates rich in a few months.

It's hilarious how people avoid the obvious, isn't it?

I'm curious too, but it sounds like they're very reluctant to give out any details (maybe makes it easier for attackers?).

In one of the other threads, I think CCP Explorer said something like (can't remember exact wording) they've had plenty attacks in the past, but players haven't seen any effect because their defences/methods coped with it.

For anyone who doesn't have a George Foreman Grill, get one. It is amazing, the only "As seen on TV" product I have ever encountered that lives up to the hype. Exceeds expectations in cooking, and relatively easy to clean as well.

Especially for chicken, OMG it's insane. Steak seasoning, a bit of cinammon sugar, cut it into cubes and cook that ****er up on the G.F., it rocks my socks.

Speaking of rocking, I'm no engineer, but rock and roll doesn't seem like a solid foundation to be building a whole ******* city on.

Idk, they do have that Japanese anti earthquake architecture, where the building rolls and shifts around in order to dissipate the force of a tremor.

Rock and roll, as it were.

Yes, but how well does it work against giant robots? I mean that IS the true test, no?

You have it mixed up, the giant robots belong to the Japanese, they use them to defend against the giant sea monsters.

Derailing your alliance leader's thread like a BAWS. You got balls, mate.

Think of me when you're doing your will tonight, won't you? Blink

EDIT: In all fairness though, I agree with Feyd but, this isn't getting the case any momentum and this thread WILL no doubt be getting locked so...

Ooooh! It's up. Time to make with the mischief. No derailment intended, my question was dead serious. Giant Killer Robots are a serious threat, as they cause massive collateral damage while fighting the giant sea monsters. Engineering is critical in these cases.

Well, like I said, I'm no engineer, and my experience with giant killer robots and sea monsters is even less than my experience with griffins and unicorns so.... I'm just gonna nod my head, grab another beer, and log into EVE.

A solid Panini press is the original version of the GF, and often has more powerful heating elements and a heavier cooking plate (along with nice deep ridges so that cheese will ooze out of your sandwich and form these delicious browned crunchy fingers).

A while ago I got Maple Pepper from some family who'd visited Vermont. It's a mix of maple sugar, salt, pepper, and it is fantastic for everything... hmm, I think I only have one jar left. Time to chat up some family.

Best defense against DDoSes is to have multiple physical locations for your servers. Which is what companies like Google do. Of course, I don't care which server serves my Google search, but I kind of care which server I'm playing EVE on.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive, and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

32. Rumor mongering is prohibited.

Rumor threads and posts which are based off no actual solid information and are designed to either troll or annoy other users will be locked and removed. These kinds of threads and posts are detrimental to the wellbeing and spirit of the EVE Online Community, and can create undue panic among forum users, as well as adding to the workload of our moderators.
