Your distance from the sentry guns is unimportant, what matter is your distance from the stuff they defend. And yes it's 150km.

Yes. In Hagilur their range is 150km.

In all other systems, their range is 149.9999712009km.

Use that info wisely, as it can be the difference between life and.. well.. err... having to fly a pod?
