Think of it like playing a game of Chess and you notice that both of your Bishops are on the same color. Neither you nor your partner can remember how that happened, so there's no way to retrace your steps. The fairest thing to do in a case like that is restarting the game from the beginning, which is akin to what power-cycling a device does.

Talk is cheap, but Void S and Quake L are cheaper.

What do some scum have against EVE to attack the server for like weeks in a row... go DDos some criminal company like Shell or something and leave the gamers alone. And I wanted to say to the attackers 'put your talent to good use instead of cyber attacks' , but there is no skills involved in DDos, it's a rougue program that does it for them, click and grief (anomynous apparently).

I was sitting outside of Jita 4-4 trying to kill war targets in my Kronos, then i lost connection.

Luckily, everyone in Jita did crash i think so i was in no danger.

The same thing happened earlier in Amarr when i was using the Kronos there to, but only 80% of the peoples in local lost connection then, while i had one war target shooting me while he had 7-8 friends (war targets to us) waiting for me / us to aggro. But they was still ingame and ready to attack me / us when i / we lost connection as they was still ingame. So i knew i was in danger as the only thing they could do to get me is to probe me out. But luckily they didn't.

Here is a list of my current EVE / PVP videos:

1: Asteroid Madness

2: Clash of the Empires

3: Suddenly Spaceships fighting in Tama

Well at least it seems like it wasn't the Lizards again... They would be boasting by now. Ugh

This analogy makes no sense whatsoever and most probably doesn't even apply.

It does if you understand Chess analogies, I guess. Smile

Yeah, just saw your update and I've been logged in for awhile with no issues now. Cheers for the quick heads up when it started kicking off Explorer. Smile

The launcher is still displaying the Offline message. CCP Explorer, how do you fix this? I assume there isn't an attack going on just now?

I deleted everything from /launcher folder and then run repair.exe.
After that - launcher was working

If your launcher won't online then maybe you don't have enough CPU

Had also reinstalled the launcher now to get the offline mode fixed.
However - after the reinstall and clear the launcher cache everything is fine again.

Well of course CCP Explorer was referring to the situation last night. Who know's how many people it is? We have no details on that fact, it could be a well organized group for all we know. I haven't heard one single person say they are unsubscribing from EVE because of this and I'm really hoping this was a bad attempt at trolling... Sad

"one single hacker with the most basic tools"; interesting, you have confirmed information on this? Could you please pass those details on to your local law enforcement.
