So you think they should get 1 minute to shoot you with the module active and then another full minute to shoot you without it active?
No. They should get 1 minute to shoot you (and have an übertank) with the module active, and another full minute of not shooting you (nor having an übertank) with the module off.

…which is why it works exactly like that.

That makes no sense. You're saying that they won't shoot you after you turn it off.

Something tells me you've never used one.

Does that answer the question?

Somewhat, but why not make the timer start when you deactivate the BM? IMO 119 seconds is too long for someone that chooses to disengage and dock or jump. Assuming they will be webbed and scrammed the second it goes offline they will have no other choice.

FYI: I hate docking games and only use it for running level IV's.

You mean make the timer start when you click it again to make it end at the end of the cycle? That is equivalent to not causing a weapon timer at all, since anyone looking to abuse it will just double-click it, leading to, at worst, being able to dock 1 second after the BM turns off. It also leaves an open question as to what happens when someone has the auto-cycle option turned off on the BM. Perhaps I misunderstood though.

It would make more sense if you read what I wrote rather than the nonsense you just made up.

Maybe you're confused about who “they” are?

what could possibly be op about being able to tank jesus christ himself and then go "lol" and dock up....

hmmm that's a toughey.

You don't know what you're talking about.

1) Undock
2) Activate Module
3) Deactivate Module
4) Tank Jesus Christ
5) Wait 60 seconds
6) Dock Up

That's the scenario "WITHOUT" a 60-second aggression timer.

Why make it a 2-minute process???

Do you even use one?

I may have to rename my Marauders that from now on.

Also, I nearly spewed my drink all over my keyboard when I read this. Thanks for the great laugh.

EDIT: So as to be somewhat on-topic, I the current aggression timer is totally appropriate. In essence, it forces you to commit to a fight if you're going to use it for station/gate games. Given the power of the module, I think this is a balanced tradeoff.

It would probably help if you told us the actual reason why you want it changed,
because that's still lacking here. Instead you just tell us that you want it changed,
without providing the actual reason for it.

Understanding why you have a problem with the current mechanic,
based on your own experiences, would probably help us finding a solution.

Instead ... you're just angry about not getting what you want.

That doesn't help at all.
