Well it doesn't have the optimal bonus, the tracking bonus or the speed of the Navy Apoc. Overall it is actually weaker than a normal Navy Apoc, even if the 5. med slot, the extra armor and the fully golden hull look nice.

Op, limited edition ships are normally not flown in eve, they are collectors items for most and would get suicide ganked in empire or hot dropped outside of empire very quick for the unique kill mail. While some used them in the tournaments or pvp most of the hulls that where used that way where lost into the process. Her limited nature and the point that her collector value is far higher than any practical value makes them only hangar ornaments.

Thats for what I want that ship. To put it in to my collection. Problem is that I am only 2 years in game .... So I have missed many ships that were worth to buy :-/

Tell that to Tyrrax that lost one on the alliance tournament. Was so amazing to watch that. That fight from IAC was more relevant then the tournament finnale :)

If you are really a serious collector, you should know that CCP will not put more limited edition ships of one type into the game. This would vastly diminish the collectors value and the achievement for the people that worked hard to win them or the collector to get his hands on one.

Overall it is the rarity of a item and the effort involved to acquire it that makes it interesting as a collector.

He he. No. I dont want to change the rareness of that ship. There is only one in this game with no way that man will ever sell it. All I said is that it is really pity that this beautiful ship is last of its kind .... I dont think that emission of another 5 ships will make it common.

So you're completely fine fcking up that person's unique ship by introducing more (going from 1 to 6 is a huge change), but NOT fine with introducing more than is needed (and by that you mean; you need) so you , specifically you, can get your hands on one and then no one else gets to have one.

You sound like a 5 yearold who wants his cookie.

Although I would not be against adding the number of the ones destroyed. Trough some epic challenge as they were originally given.

You are not ******* anyone by doing that. If 4 were given they were made to be 4 and if you got one you knew that. The fact that other 3 went poof is not related.

But at any moment increasing the number to above the original given is a 100% no no.

Of course you do, the value of that ship is determined by the rarity of it, so if the current owner bought because back then there were just 2 (for instance) left the price will thus reflect it. Suddenly introducing more of them WILL affect the value of the ones that still existed.

They're limited edition ships and they should stay exactly that; limited.

People can try all they want, it's nothing more than "waah, I want one and I'm special snowflake so I should be able to have one even if that means using warped logic".

Yes, yes I am. Thanks for noticing.

All things can be said politely. But for some idividuals it is little bit hard as I see. I have never said that I am special "snowflake" and in this game with that long history I hardly be. Only thing that I wanted is to know if they plan to or it will be restricted to that number as it is. If this offends you thats your problem. If I want to know something I will ask.

I'm not offended by anything really.

However "nice" you may put it, it doesn't change the underlying agenda or reasoning you use. If some 5 yearold asks for a cookie, the parent says "nope, you just had lunch" and then said 5 yearold thinks for a few seconds and then comes up with a really contrived, obviously flawed and hilarious (but very nice) explanation for why he really should get that cookie then you could react in 2 ways:

- "well honey, I understand what you're saying but you really shouldn't have one right now". This is what created generation X; soft parenting resulting in perpetual cry babies and special snowflakes

- "No, you know why you're not getting one so stop trying, I won't change my mind. Ask again later this afternoon". This results in kids who are capable of picking their battles, being rational and not overly sensitive (also not getting these weird and funky diseases called ADD, ADHD and whatever other exotic excuses parents come up with)

Option #1 is bad parenting, option #2 is what is needed.

People continuously trying to come up with these amazing reasons for why they really should be able to get their limited edition faction cookie, while using obviously flawed, contrived and hilarious (but very nice) explanations, are no different from said 5 yearold and apparently need to be treated as such.

Yes, yes I am. Thanks for noticing.

Hehe. As I said I am not reasoning that I have some bigger reason to get that ship. I just ask if it will be possible to get one in future. Nothing like Ill get one and others will not have chance. I understand what your saying, but if you dont ask you will never know.

While they are out of reach, it may be time for a new set of unique battleship hulls off of the faction style things. A tribal issue phoon. State Scorpion. Federation hype. Imperial geddon. Imagine the possibilities, and the isk that would end up locked up in these ships.
