Overheat ship function: Increase ships default speed

Overheat ship function: Increase default speed at expense of all low/mid/high overheat bars. (all 3 bars start to overheat when activated :. all mods will take damage)

This way we can consider fits without prop mods and start to use ships with inherently fast speeds for different unexpected uses. Additionally it enables you to use larger ships to catchup to scrammed but not web`d smaller ships... at a steep cost.

Just a suggestion. It would certainly make things more interesting

I'd support an "overheat the capacitor" function but not a speed boost ( there was a nano nerf for a reason).

Maybe include velocity, cap recharge & shield recharge.

that way you could try to overheat in a last ditched attempt if your been neuted or alternatively it adds the flavour of overheat to passive fit shield ships

I think it's a bad idea but I could put more though into it if the damage was dealt in structure and you could pop your own ship.

Sure, why not?

Let's make it just like modules; as your ship overheats, it takes damage just like modules, reducing its overall HP. When it 'burns out,' it explodes in space.
