English is practically a second language over in Iceland. I had no problems talking to the DEVs or the general population while I was there.

edit: however, I wasn't quite sure if Icelanders have trouble understanding sarcasm... or they are experts in it and "play dumb."

Either way... it's probably what makes them all masterful trolls.
