I don't often clonejump, but when I do, I look like this. Pirate

I imagine capsuleers with a monocle have it surgically implanted on their fresh clone, that those with eye-patches are chuunibyou and that those with scarred socket ritually do so.

They're prosthetic enhancements, until such time as cloning technology becomes par with Jovian genetic engineering and we can enhance what nature has given us at the source rather than synthetically. Plus it's the future, and I just can! :p

I just happen to like this look, so I usually put an additional aging request in with each clone update. The Gallente girls love it. The Odin is just a style thing, plus it came with a free Overwolf software package so I don't have to install capture software on my ship's camera drones.

I'm going to have to do more EVE pondering. The next question in my queue is wondering if our ships are equipped with sun visors (I mean, why else do most of us wear sun glasses in space?) but that lacks philosophical pizzazz.

This one is easy: In our pods, we have no direct visual, we rely on our brain being plugged on sensors and camera feeds.

I know, boring.

So yeah, sunglasses are only for the looks.

Added tip: In our pods, we are stark NAKED - no shenanigans with underclotes and bras, but NOOOOO, CCP can't allow us to see ourselves like we are most of the time. noooo sir... pricks.

Various monocles for those that prefer the advanced capabilities of cybernetics over nature.

White/scarred eye sockets are due to recent injuries that will eventually be remedied with cybernetics or a fresh clone.
Just because you can jump into a new clone upon death doesn't mean that it would be cost effective or always convenient to do so.

Say you got used to seeing yourself one way. The scar became part of your self image. Imagine waking up, looking in a mirror, and seeing someone different.

Welcome to a case of the screaming heebie jeebies.

You mean like in Elysium with Kruger?

PS Legion would be fun if we could fight like that
Railguns, screw cover, Im shooting for effect!
Tanks? Throw them at the other tanks! Hope they have insurance
Air power? Uhm run and hope I have an antiorbit launcher with me
Also just the general movement capabilities of early PS2 games, what with ledge grabs, jumps actually clearing obstacles, and perhaps the ability to not find out the ruts send me into a toe stubbing stop.

As a part of the cloning service your chosen facility will helpfully gouge out your eyeball, strictly for the sake of consistency.

They will also outfit your million isk clone with the billions in clothing that just recently died in a fire.

Don't worry about it, it's just science.

You know you're naked in your Pod right? No clothing is lost upon the destruction of your space egg... It's most certainly hauled to your new body by slaves...

Edit: Someone beat me to it.

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

nowadays ppl get tattoos all the time because it`cool.
it`s not hard to think in a future where you can alter your body in any way you like ppl would start to add scars or other things usually considered "bad" just because it looks cool, especially if you know you can go back to your original face anytime you want, its just makeup.

Think about your tan! All those weeks under the sun/UV lamp wasted...

But wait, maybe there's a reason why capsuleer's clothing cost so MUCH, your fashion agents are likely bound by a life contract to replace everething when said clothes get wasted, either by gross overexposure to a good shot of 1400mm nuclear shell, or your newborn just got a bad case of overflow.

Actually my clothes are expensive as I shoved a planetary class fluid router, 3 antigrav generators, a planc generator, and a very nice media player into the seams.
So of course its going to be expensive at that point.
Worth it though.
Here have a beer, fresh from the chiller I have in the planc generated space
My pockets are much bigger on the inside.
