Hello,


I was gonna try out this tool; seems to be pretty useful and interesting.


Yet I was not able to us it, ... somehow it won't let me register, it keeps saying that I don't have permission to register.

Am I doing something wrong or is the tool only available to certain people?

I have authorized your corp - you should be able to register now.

I have authorized your corp - you should be able to register now.

Your corp is now authorized - keep in mind however it appears the EVE API hasn't updated with your new corp yet so you may still get the "not authorized" error until the API catches up...

Looks to be caught up now - should be good to go

After talking to Daimian and helping him test a number of things, he has asked for help in providing support and answering questions. I've volunteered to provide as much help as I can.

PATCH DAY!!

Tripwire will be getting one of the largest patches ever in about 12 hours... 01:00 EVE time.

Because of the absolutely massive back-end changes please note the following:
1.) Signatures & Notes will be lost
2.) Everyone will need to register again
3.) Alliances have been removed
4.) Personal statistics will be reset

HOWEVER, you can start using the patch right now and get setup and transfer data via Galileo

WHAT WILL HAPPEN at 01:00 during patching you ask? We are simply going to point the Tripwire URL to the Galileo server. This means that everyone will see the change at different times because it can take 10 minutes or an hour for DNS servers to point you to the new server. Tripwire data won't be lost, you simply won't be able to get to it anymore because it will remain on the old server.

YOU SHOULD read up on the new Mask system (https://tripwire.cloud-things.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=21) and try and get setup early on Galileo.

FEATURES/CHANGES

  • New mask system - take control of your Tripwire data
  • New landing page w/ registration system - No need for pre-authorization anymore
  • New chain map line styling to always show connection status (includes new Frig WH indicator)
  • New activity graph hover details for easier visibility

Got it. How, as corp CEO, do you create a mask and share it to an alliance? It looks like you can only share masks with individuals.

And also, to clarify, whatever mask you have "selected" is the visibility of your chain?

Best option is to get your account setup as corp admin via the "Corp" registration and create a corp mask that includes the other corps in your alliance.

And yes - changing selected mask and saving will change your chain map.

Sorry for being dense but how? When I create a Corp mask from my interface and search, it only seems to return users, not corporations to add to the "Allowed" list.

I think I got it now. It does not take partial names or tickers when searching. If I put in the exact corp name it seems to find it just fine. Thanks.
