Am I ready for EVE?

I have another question. This is just a trial account to see if I like EVE. When the trial times out, can I still post on the forums? Also when I play for real and get good enough to afford/run an alt, can I resurrect this account via PLEX injection and have my main give the ISK to myself to get the PLEX? I may have missed it, but is there a way to give/contract items to a specific player?

Also time investment is a big factor for me if I'm going to be in it for the long haul. Would say ~2 hours on weekdays (maybe more) be enough to enjoy EVE? And I can play as long as I'd like on weekends. Also how long does it take to become self sufficient again? (ISK income that allows to no longer buy PLEX in $)

Even 50 million ISK worth of loot still won't make you a (likely) target? How high does it go? But Yeah, I never use auto pilot, and my frigate is especially hard to catch because I have a pair of these bad boys in the low slots.

50 usually are not enough. Frigates can mostly make it through but in somce cases...not, people will blow up your ship even for 10m or less. Forget about the Nanos, learn about instalock.

Forget about that damn crap. Annual sub is 99 EUR/USD for the first time. But if you want you can work for me, will pay 3 USD/EUR an hour, be sure to wear old clothes.

This and similar topics are just stupid.

Play it and find out if you like it or do not play it and leave us alone with your brilliant mind and thought.

Why do you think there is the kindness of a trial presented to you? To make you think if you might/should/want/want not/play it or maybe something else?

So why have you wasted my time reading and thinking about if your brains still work as they should?

And yet, here you are posting on the thread, taking time to write an utterly useless post that adds nothing to the thread.

Stay in GD with that type of stuff, it's why they invented GD.

That's an advantage. If you really want to start off on the right foot, go out right now and do something illegal. Nobody is your friend. You're an adventurous space privateer with utterly nothing to lose!

So far I have been liking EVE. I'm trying to do exploration as a beginning way to make some ISK, though I have some troubles finding anything. Seems like wherever I go in highsec all of the systems have been mined out of data sites. Maybe I just had an unlucky day? I try to go to the places with low player count in the last half hour. I heard that exploration sites respawn at a certain time of day, if that's the case they might be all gone before I even get on. (I live in Central Time Zone (UTC-06:00)) If that's the case I might try to explore earlier in the day.

Also tips for selling the loot from those data sites? Should I undercut the value a bit so they sell fast, or mark them up? Should I sell them in Jita? (which is pretty close to me)

One funny thing I did notice is that all the "mined out" systems have two cosmic signatures-which are always wormholes. I don't even bother with star system unless it at least has 4 signatures to look at.

"Ready for EVE"... What does that even mean? It's not like you need a PhD to play EVE.

Don't get me wrong but this starts getting ridiculous now.

Depends on how fast you want ot sell the items, you could go to Jita and just fill buy orders if you need ISK instantly. Keep in mind that items traded at a high volume have multiple people adjusting the price every 5 minutes to counter other people doing it by 0.01ISK (also known as, you guessed it, 0.01isking) so creating loads of sell orders might actually force you to baby-sit them.

As for sites: highsec has the largest player-per-system density, lowsec and nullsec will have more sites, but remember that you are just an another target flying in space. Also, bubbles in nullsec, you need to experience them first-hand to realize how much of an awesome thing they are. IF you find yourself in a bubble-in-space, you cannot warp out of it until you leave the area it covers, unless you are in an Interceptor or a T3 cruiser with interdiction nullification subsystem.
