Breaking into T2 Production Question...

Hey all,

Getting back into Tech 2 production but finding some of the new features a little confusing.

Used to be if I wanted to make Tech 2 drones, I would make a copy of BPO with 1500 runs on it, put it in invention and then if successful I would get a Tech 2 -4 ME and -4 PE copy....but now I reading all this info that its different. So hopefully some helpful people can take a quick few minutes to answer my questions....

1. Do the number of runs on a copy effect the Tech 2 runs? If so, do we have a max limit like old days...i.e. Ships 1 run on copy, Modules were 100 I think, Ammo/Drones max runs.

2. The new Tech 2 BPC from invention are +2 ME +4 PE?

3. Besides the bonus to saving time inventing and copying in a POS, you still have to pay install fee for the system?

1. Right now no they dont. You will get a max run T2 BPC with a single run T1 BPC.

2. As standard (without decryptors) yes

3. The production arrays get a 2% material reduction (ignoring the Thukker) and you dont pay the 10% Station tax. But yes there are still install costs.

You will get a max run T2 BPC with a single run T1 BPC *** but the invention job will only remove one run off the bpc.

This means you essentially only need to have 1 bpc per 'slot'/job you wish to simultaneously run. Its really awesome. No more hanger with 500 bpcs.
