So I plan on sitting this character in a station with implants and just training some skills up. I am looking at a 6 month to 12 month training cycle. What are the ships that are most wanted or needed by null sec alliances.

This question will very much so depend on the alliance/corp you join.

If you plan on joining a renter corp/alliance then they'll probably want you to have good ratting/mining skills. Alternatively if you choose to join a PvP focused corpoation then you'll be given a rough (or precise) skill plan to follow so that you can fly/fit their doctrines.

Your best bet would be to join a corp/alliance you like and join them, then figure out what they want you to train into so you can be most useful to them and go from there =)

If you read some of the recruitment posts for the nullsec alliances you'll probably get a good idea of what the general nullsec meta is at the moment.

Booster pilots are always in demand. (Command ships)
Logibros (mostly because no one wants to fly logi).
Bombers and recons for BLOPS operations.
Ishtars are fotm right now. I expect some kind of a nerf in that area in the next 4 - 6 months.
Interceptors are good at the moment and a reasonably quick train (45-ish days I think for one race at good skills). Though they are getting rebalanced in Oceanus, so you might want to see what that looks like before heading down that road.

Carriers are always useful, if for no other reason than to schlep your own stuff around.

Yeah, I thought they might change the hacs around at some point just cause the Ishtar is so op at the moment. I thought a good idea might be to train into all the hacs so that when things change I would be able to fit into that role. Logi is always needed, however my other character fly's logi now so I don't want two characters that do the same thing. Bombers are always good and is something I want to train up more. I guess we will see what happens in a few months.
