Update 1

After reading the lossmail of Danilaw's Nyx, and reading the critique of his fit, I came up with this EFT fit. Designed to cyno in, kill, then get out without getting caught. Any advice welcome.

Why have you cheaped out so much on the smartbombs?

Will die pretty quickly to any good bait.

Why fit Trimarks?

You need DNCs for ganking HICs with fighters, you need Istabs so you can jump in and align out quickly and you probably don't need a DCU.

If you are operating in low the Smartbombs are useless too, fit Advance Drone Link thingies so you can pop more FBs, the quicker your target dies the quicker you are off field.

I probably should have mentioned that I'm not a capital pilot in my OP. Oops!

Thanks for pointing the smartbomb choice out to me. I had forgotten that Officer had an extra 2.5km range.

Anything will die to a proper bait.

I fit Trimarks because everyone else did. Instead of that, should I have Drone speed rigs?

How many DNCs should I add? 2? Drop the recharger and a sebo for them?
I thought that getting to jump cap would be more important than warping off, especially with the warp speed changes. If not, what align time should i aim for?

I was going to operate in low/nullsec, wherever there's a ratting carrier to kill.

Everyon fits Trimarks because they add alot of HP when your in a fleet fully hardened up.

So all those KMs of hot-dropping Nyxs are from guys who used to use it in fleet stuff, but then decided to have some fun on the side?

E: sorry if that sounded bad/accusatory. I'm trying to learn :)

Good luck with getting out again with all that bait equipment...

You'd go with mostly T2 with some faction, in case it gets dropped and blown up?

Save some isk i guess, since if I *do* get dropped i aint getting out of it....

An ECM burst won't help you much in nullsec when you get bubbled.
Also check how long you need to cap up and how long it takes to kill a carrier in your fit. Your fit lack's cap recharge.

Don't mind me, just 22 bil worth of smartbombs.

Just a side note, where do you plan to drop with this? like what regions?

Just a bit of advice: Reading criticism from killboard comment sections or places like TMC is a very bad way to go about designing a fit. Both places are littered with sperglords.

Not a critique on your fit, as I know squat about supercaps.

Hey guys.
