A potential method of stopping the silliness going on in the inc's?

Someone who I know who runs a ton of inc's had an idea they wanted passed along to the incursion community.
I think the idea has some merit, though not sure it can be done, and the HQ players would likely be very unhappy.

Basically, when the mom appears, or rather, before the mom appears, all incursion runners who are tired of this madness and have alt accounts available, well, those players log on your alts in the system where the mom will appear, and just leave the alt there. Anywhere in system.

The big question is, and frankly I don't know the answer, is how many chars would have to be logged into that system to create enough TiDi to make it not worthwhile to pop the mom, or at least slow down the HQ fleets so other people can run for a while.

edit: Someone has pointed out to me that this would be considered an exploit, so guess the idea is DOA.

That, in itself, wouldn't work, as it would close down the entire HQ system.

However, if they were to be in Tornado's and sit on the Mom gate, threatening anyone arriving (before withdrawal), then that might work Big smile

Nope. The number of characters required to tidi a system, if they are all sitting quietly, is MASSIVE. Also, TIDI wouldn't prevent the mom from going down, but would be used as an excuse to do it.

You do realize that tidi would actually make it easier to run the incursions since logi will have extra time to react to shifts in aggro, right?

Also waiting for the inevitable "mom popping is a nullsec/csm/ccp conspiracy that is costing subs" post that we've all come to expect from Dinsdale.
