Hi there CCP, and EVE players alike.

I just had an idea that could go in the 'little things' category to make everyone's market lives a little easier.

When typing a number into a number field (market, contracts etc), pressing k,m,b,t should multiply the value in the field by the following amounts:

k - x 1,000
m - x 1,000,000
b - x 1,000,000,000
t - x 1,000,000,000,000

Funny enough, this means pressing 1000kk would be the same as pressing 1t, 1000b, or .001kt

also, if digit grouping could be done automatically while typing the number in, that would be swell!


No longer would you need to think "ok 320 million..., need a 32 and 7 zeroes... 0...0...0..00000..'tab' 3,200,000,000 Crap!"

Hm.

I can't really see any sort of drawback other than user error, which is already present in some degree or another.

So yeah, sounds nifty.

Another little thing this game and forum is in dire need of, is users who read the forum properly, post in the proper threads and don't start new threads for each and every new ouchie.

Meh. It probably belongs there on account of his title, but I have no issue with the idea having it's own thread anyways.

Also +1, with modifiable hotkey for it
