Because I have suddenly run into money issues I will be releasing the latest update to Tripwire this weekend so I can shutdown non-essential servers.

Tripwire will continue - just on a new server.

I will try to perform the switch during a time when it is least used and communicate it hear.

Damien,

Do you have any info on what kind of server and load it gets? I could potentially offer some server space to run it if it helps cash flow.

I'm not worried about server load or anything. Tripwire is very efficient and mostly client side now.

Thanks for the offer tho.

I imagine this is known but just in case. http://imgur.com/t9cyUp9 shows two C2b wormholes in the same chain. Surely one should be C2c?

You are correct - it is a known issue that is next for a complete overhaul. Somehow over the past couple months the class naming code has broken.

I will be posting a topic soon asking for details on how this feature should function.. I know the ability to manually change it is high on the list right now.

Thanks for the feedback - it lets me know what I should prioritize.

I am new to Tripwire (great btw) but I can see a couple of design necessities. First and most importantly, the automatically generated designation should never change automatically (user change would be alright). Otherwise bookmark naming conventions will be stuffed up when Tripwire switches it from 'b' to 'a'. And they should obviously be unique.

I doubt I'd use the ability to customize the designation - the most important thing to me is just that there is a unique label. Others could be different of course.

This feature should be switched on by default when it is working properly. I didn't know about it until I was told.

Well, obviously wasn't able to release the latest update to Tripwire this weekend and switch servers around...

I'm a bit of a perfectionist and money be damned - I will be working hard on it the next few days and will continue to give updates here.

Also don't forget to follow me on Twitter for more updates.

I would like to get access, as I often go WH diving personally. Do you have any idea what the cost structure will be once this goes live? I think my corp might be interested as well, I want to test drive this for them.

Made good progress on Tripwire patch tonight - testing revealed a few bugs yet to be squished.

Tomorrow hope to finish corp registration, mask management and ability to copy data to masks.

Just for the sake of finally getting this patch out I might delay some admin abilities until a few days after in incremental patching.

I'm sorry - I forgot to answer your questions about cost....

I'm still very much undecided - but if I had to give a number I would say 50mill per corp (1 time fee).

Once this next patch is released and I get some feedback on the admin features I'll have a better idea... but don't forget - anyone who signs up during beta gets access for life.
