I know this has been mentioned before, however this would be a great addition to the game. Having all the features of the aurora app plus the ability to edit training and use chat facilities would really help those that love eve but don't always have access to a PC. I would probably get in trouble at work taking part in corp chat but hey.

Updating a skill queue is not gameplay. Logging in to update your skill queue, then promptly logging off, does not increase the actual active playerbase or meaningfully encourage gameplay.

Either remove the 24h limit or allow us to update skills remotely. Chat would be a nice addition too.

Lets just make EvE playable on tablets. Problem solved :)

Ok... maybe tablets need more work... and EvE might need some UI changes to work with tablets, but we're not going to be chained to PC's forever. The world's moving on, and EvE'll need to keep up if we want to celebrate more anniversaries.

However, until that time, I'm going to have to say NO to affecting the game while not being logged in. I love my apps that keep me informed, but if I want to respond to those changes, I need to actually play the game. Right now that means waiting until I get home to fire up the comp.

Edit: Chat however, I have no problem with.

Perhaps create the app that actually does allow the end user to log onto Tranquility, only an abbreviated version of it. Obviously, it would create problems if people were trying to do silly things like fly their ships or command fleets from their phones. That's just absurd. Lol. But if it can be done, I see no problem with people being able to actually log onto the server for purposes of updating queues and communicating. Perhaps even market transactions, but I'm no software designer or network engineer. I don't know what kind of issues will come into play for creating a program that allows a mobile device to access even an abbreviated version of server with a large population. I wager it would depend quite largely on how much data the device's processor is actually capable of processing, among many other factors. If it is possible, it would be pretty cool and quite convenient to have. However, if for what ever reason(s) it isn't possible, I suppose we'll all just have to be patient as we've always had to be, and just wait until we can find time to take care of our in game issues. I suppose that's one of the few blessings of having skills that take forever to train in your queue. If you have to wait three weeks for a skill to train to what ever level, there really isn't much of a need to be able to log on and update your queue. At the same time, if you're waiting for three weeks or longer for a skill to finish training, then you probably already have developed at least some capacity for exercising patience. I'm sure all you cap pilots out there can relate quite well. Lol!
