Does anyone remember the whining of alleged industrialists after crius about how useless POSes would be now that there are unlimites lots in the stations and you need to ahve the BPO present?

If all these people shut down their POSes and quit producing - as they claimed they would do - there shouldn't be any problems with buying a POS and fueling it since the prices should be down a lot. If not, you should take it as a sign that industry is doing fine after crius. So take heart.

So what was it?

A) deliberate decision to screw over a lot of independent high security industrial players to appease a CSM that doesn't represent us because it is stacked by the nullsec power blocs?
B) colossal incompetence?
C) arrogant disregard in failing to consult the people affected?
D) attempting to patch the game with public relations and advertising instead of actual game development.
E) Cost cutting? "Good enough is close enough until we can free the other development teams up"

Note: they are not mutually exclusive defenses, any combination can apply.

a) don't think so. costs have gone up and the sink is unpleasant because on the short term, margins shrink. On the long term what we'll see is a new equilibrium. I'm still able to make a bil per character, give or take. It's not broken, really.

b) I'm going to guess that CCP actually has a plan here. It may not work out 100% the way they anticipated but it will work out. Keep the big picture in view.

c) Unionize. This is what unions say all the time. And every single time, they are wrong! I suggest you go on strike and tell us how that works out for you. EVE isn't like the real world. We don't have the rights to market manipulation negotiated on our behalf by power blocks of people who have never taken an economics course.

d) suggest you read the more recent dev blogs

e) ?? not sure what you mean by that.
