Hello everyone!


You may have noticed that there now is a cool new function: "Corp Bookmarks"
Now thats something great for sure, finally some love for our BMs!

But what I noticed when I logged in, there is now, when you rightklick in space, a folder that contains your BMs called "Personal Locations", this folder is only there if your BMs in the system are more than 4.
And if there´s an option to disable this grouping/folder, and display it as it was, I did not find it yet.


Now, how does this make sense?!


Just to point this out, having to access the folder first before you can click a BM slows the whole process down a lot, so much, that where time is of the essence, it might be enuff to kill you.

Imagine you are ratting in low/nullsec, you are aligned and tend to have an eye on local, now you got distracted for a sec and see theres a neutral in system, one or two seconds can make the difference between getting tackled/killed in your multi-billion-ratting-monster, or being safe at your safespot BM, and those seconds are the ones that you lose through this folder thingy.

And even if you are not in a situation like this, having to expand the folder everytime you use a BM simply cost you time, everytime you do it, and I bet no one likes to do additional, unnecessary things, right?


Giving us a nifty new tool for BMs, but nerfing them, again?

(there are few things in EVE, nerfed as hard as BMs...)

Is there any official word on this issue?
Anything that I missed here?

FYI:

Dont forget, BMs show slow for a reason, CCP made access to them database-wise slower, thats why you have a delay when you look into a jetcan or corp Hangar that has BMs in it for example.
And CCP limited how much you can copy at a time, because everyone had billions of BMs before warp-to-zero.
The sheer quantity of BMs everyone had those days, was what urged them to nerf BMs, so they could lift some load off their system.
Now, one would think CCP would undo the BM nerf as it has no use anymore, other than annoying players, but hey, they nerfed it again!
They must be really paranoid about how their database is unable to handle some BMs...

So, dear CCP, why "buff" BMs with corp-BMs utility, while nerfing it in the same move?
And not removing previous, now needless nerfs?
