Michael Bay for CCP

Hello there.

I know I'm rather new to the universe of EVE, and a lot of you may disagree with me, but... I want to be able to fit missiles on any ship!
There, I said it!

Yes, I know each faction has their bonuses:

Amarr - Lasers

Gallente - Hybrid

Minmatar - Projectile

Caldari - Missiles and Hybrid


Still, a Minmatar ship can fit laser turrets, as well as Hybrids. It may not be practical - but that isn't what I'm asking for! I just want the ability to fit missiles. Why does Laser, Hybrid and Projectile share their hardpoints, when missiles have specific requirements? A turret hardpoint, should be able to fit ANY type of turret, even if it isn't practical.

I'm not asking to make missiles more OP or anything, I would just like to have it as an option to fit missiles on a Gallente ship, for example. Yes, it may be inadvisable - and rarely anybody is going to do it... but I wanna have the choice! I choose to fit Hybrids, Projectiles or energy, based on bonuses, cap or other - but why can't missiles be a choice as well?

I hope somebody out there gets what I'm talking about.

So you just want to have more options for total failfits? Yep, that's definitely worth dev time spent to address your request.

I want a repeating turret that shoots 150mm Michael Bays at 400 Michael Bays per second.

All factions have a primary and secondary weapon system they are known for, Drones as support might be used by more then the main factions but are unbonused. And I never was a fan of MB and his overblown Candy Corn .. well, Pain & Gain was a surprise in certain ways, but not his usuall schtik.

Meh, now that missile launchers actually have a model I don't see a reason why we shouldn't be able to fit them in turret slots. Straight

Stupidity should be a bannable offense.

I thought this was going to be a post about redoing explosions in the game. Cause let's be honest, blowing up anything huge in this game is wholly unsatisfying with that weird slideshow explosion.

It was somewhat like this in the old days where, for example an Apocalypse had 4 (or was it 2..?) launchers hitpoints as well.
