Today, we have YC 116 and almost ten years ago (YC 107.7.11) an Amarr Emperor got assassinated; his name Doriam II from the House Kor-Azor. I think many people will already know him, and also already know that his killer was not found. So, since this time we haven't heard much about this topic. Thats why I thought we get a thread started about the question: 'who could?'

Who could attack him, and who had a motive? Was it....

  • A Defiants attack?
  • A attack by an officer of the RKN?*
  • A terrorist attack from the Bloody Hands of Matar? They have attacked the Pashanai station and murdered High Deacon Mervan Moritok. The actual target was Empress Jamyl I.*
  • A member of the Order of St. Tetrimon? They are active in the Kingdom, which would explain the Kingdom link in the news. As well as they had a problem with Heideran's policies and Doriam was seen as his natural successor.*

What are your thoughts and ideas?

I would love to have those classes ingame. See here:

The late Court Chamberlain Dochuta Karsoth did it.

Yes, you are right. I forgot him. I would not be surprised if this heretic was the hand behind the attack (1). Or at least he had more informations and let it happened anyway (2) or let the killer with impunity escape (3).

Dear Lord Valerius

You raise an interesting question. Especially considering the circumstance that nobody within the imperial establishment seems to be interested in answering it.

The Order would not hide heroic acts such as killing a liberal usurper to the eternal throne of holy Amarr. A member of the Order would have been beatified and publicly revered, had he done the deed. The Royal Khanid Navy likewise does not conceal its acts.

Although the most noble Order of St. Tetrimon and the Royal Khanid Navy are the only respectable institutions on your list, they do have something in common with the rest, at least in the eyes of the current usurping forces in the Empire: All were, or are, desirable targets of war for the Sarumites and Ardishapurites. So why don’t you put the current usurping forces on the list, too? An inside job is clearly a possibility.

I don't know, if Mr. Karsoth did it or not...
But whomever it was, obviously that he was hired or subdued by gallenteans.

That's one dude that probably loved to party. I bet he was tripping on all sorts of boosters when some hater did him in. Much better than the rest of those crusty old men who read a book for insight. Who needs books when you have an open mind and boosters?
