question about out-of-game resources

I am scheduled to take a short sabbatical from the game. In the past, I used to make sure EveMon was current so that I had a reminder of the skills I have trained.

I wish to take the "off" time to develop a new skill-training plan, but I cannot get EveMon to open (the problem is almost certainly on my end). Are there any other out-of-game websites that would allow me to take a peek at my characters now and then?

Thanks in advance.

EVEBoard comes to mind.

If you only need to look up the skills of your character and the current skill queue, you could also use your EvE Gate Profile.

Top of this page, second button from the left named ' Profile', once there click on 'Character Sheet' directly below your characters picture.
It's basic, but for a quick glance it works.

Thanks Ezwal, but I am under the impression that EvE Gate is disabled when my account is not current? Am I incorrect?

I believe so,
I'm often wrong though (and drunk) so don't take my word on it.

Often drunk, but never in doubt! That's what I say.

For a quick and dirty way you can upload your character into EFT or pyfa to see the skills in the character window. Doesn't give anywhere near the level of detail as EveMon however. Another alternative might be EveHQ, however it's no longer in development so it wouldn't be of help for any of the newer skills. I can't think of anything other than that, EveMon is just so good that there isn't much demand for an alternative.

Edit: Actually it looks like EveHQ was picked up by someone and updated with the latest skills, so it may be your best bet.

If EVEmon isn't starting for you, that is probably a .NET Framework installation problem.
