I don't get this fascination with blood. It's sticky, messy, fairly incapable of performing it's task once accessible to anyone else and just... icky in general. Besides, if you want blood so much, just pay for it. A decent enough offer would have people lining up across entire systems to donate a few hundred ml each.

You'd have enough to drown the most zealous of crazies and you wouldn't have the authorities on your arse for it as it'd be perfectly legal, not to mention how you'd get repeat customers providing the product again and again until you'd get far more over time than what you'd get from just draining a meat popsicle once.

Blood tastes like iron. It also clots real fast so you get this clumpy mass that needs to be removed with a chisel. It also stains like nobody's business. Last time I had blood all over me I had to use Quafe and a scrubber to remove the stain.

You don't have servants or drones for that?

I do not employ servants. Also at times the drones are taking too long to get to where I am and I rather just do something about it myself. Moreover, alot of Matari stations do not actually have drone caretakers at all. Janitors are a curious sort and I am not particular fond of answering their queries about the blood all over my workbench.

Seriously. Try telling a hundred or so janitors that the blood was from you accidentally cutting yourself, over and over and over again. The novelty wears off really quickly.

Or they'll just hand you some cheap mesh gloves that are cut resistant, trying hard not to roll their eyes and huff at the same time.

Prime Node. Ask me about augmentation.

Have you ever handled a second-hand turbine for hover vehicles that your vendor assures you was perfectly save, only to have shrapnel propelled towards your general direction when you powered it up? It has happened before despite precautions.

... how the hell did you get surveillance cams into my tinkering workshop? You're right of course, some of the more cataclysmic engineering failures are rather difficult to protect yourself against. Point conceded in its entirety.

I would be ashamed to offer the Red God tainted blood like that.

Valerie wrote:
As for experimenting with blood, Covenant doctrine is that vitoc makes blood unsuitable for rituals, so I don't know that any experiments would have useful results.

You are correct, Ladies, that blood intended for ritual or consumption ought not to contain Vitoc. In the past, when the only blood I obtained was that from slaves sacrificed by hand upon the altar of God, I only needed to set aside small numbers of slaves who were not treated with Vitoc. Now that I have a Slave Blooding Laboratory, I need to set aside somewhat larger numbers of slaves.

No offence, but your God seems to have a very naive understanding of architecture.

Is the said facility located in space or planetside, what kind of a power source is it using, what about service facilities, entrances,
occupational capacities, other kinds of infrastructure?

So far, it merely sounds like a nice polycarbonate cutout facade. I wouldn't be surprised if that's all it is, really.

It is in space and uses something called "Amarr Fuel Blocks" as its power source. The five rooms noted in the original post are adapted from Hangers commonly traded on SCC markets. They are now filled with Slaves, Slaver Hounds, and Vitoc.

Furthermore, vitoc/vitoxin is a method of control. Why do you need to control what you intend to offer the Red God shorty anyways? Just sacrifice them and be done with it.

Priestess β€”

I do not immediately sacrifice all my slaves. I employ most of them in pointless, grueling, menial labor. God is glorified in the humiliation, subjugation, and domination of the non-Chosen by the Chosen.

This is a religious site , Temple to God, maybe not my religion or yours but a place to worship God for those who follow this religion.

I believe that destroying and the desercration of this Temple will only radicalize the followers of this religion even more. If you want to save these slaves , i think opening talks with Nauplius would be better way forward , rather than the desercration of this religious site.

So Nauplius, you wouldn't be interested in a copy of the Takmahl scriptures by any chance ? the ones mentioned in my thread about archaeotheology. It might be interesting reading for you.

Yes, Lady Valerie Valate, I would read such Scriptures as you have available.

Leaving such a site in existance is far more dangerous and polluting than having it return to the planet in fire. Nauplius has proven on successive events that he is beyond reasoning and such is the nature of his heresy is why it must be eradicated utterly: leaf, branch, trunk and root.

Gone for a week and nothing's changed. Que the topic thread for the reward for blowing this place to Nappies' Hell.

Your heresy has assured your damnation. Those you have trapped in these structures, however, still have a chance.
Release them and let them take their rightful place. Then submit yourself to the Theology Council.

There was this one incident in Providence a few years back when a large fleet from a hostile alliance left for home shortly after having some Scripture quoted to them.
