Dear CCP,

You have been added all sort of specialized bays for specialized ships.
The Noctis is a very specialized ship and has no such bay???

I would like to see a cargo bay to keep things like:
MTU’s
Mobile Depots
Tractors
Salvagers
Maybe a cloak…

And a second bay to keep and haul Salvage.

I seem to always dump my loot and in doing so dump the MTU and or the Mobile depot..

Just a thought.

MTU would be a good one. I think that the Noctis could shine if it synergized with it but the MTU would need more tractors.

Mobile Depot is interesting. You could go with all tractors, pull in all the wrecks then swap out for all salvagers. You can pretty much do this now.

Not sure what you mean by tractors or salvagers. It can use salvage drones already.

Cloak? A T2 version maybe.

This is a good idea, but I would expand this across all ships.

Allow all ships including the hangar bay in stations to be divided into small compartments.

You would have a primary division for all incoming items but could then move items such as MTU's, fuel etc in to the other divisions.

All divisions are accessible by modules (e.g. nanite paste) and the player.

Currently you can filter the items in the cargo hold and hangar bay, so allow divisions to be created with a filter applied to the division.

The cargo bay is always a single hold, but the divisions provide quicker and easier management of items in ships and stations.

We were asking for this years ago, Instead we got Unified Inventory.
We were asking for Specialized ammo bays in the marauders, Instead we got bastion (and loot nerfs)
We were asking for More corp divisions, Instead we got .. (still nothing on this)
We were asking for Specialized cargo orcas, Instead we got T1 PI haulers.

I wonder what you will get when asking for Ship cargo divisions today?

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

A specialized cargo bay for the noctis .. No, why ?!

I use a Noctis daily, almost full time, I never have problems with cargo, its pure cargo, Why would I need a MTU or Depot ? And those are just 2 mods, really hard to find in your salvage.

Btw, If you don't run solo, drop the MTU with you main while fighting, pull it in once the Noctis arrives.

I have no issues clearing a field of 100 wrecks in a 100km radius sphere in about 5-6 minutes. And I only have pure loot/salavge.

And my Noctis has 130/hp pas regen (w/o resists) with full salavge bonus and remote repair bots...

This suggestion is one of the least pressing.

Personal Wallet division, yes
Personal Hangar divison, yes
A customizable ammo bay for ships, yes
A salavage bay, loot bay, support bay for the Noctis alone ... eh, nope... bottom of the list, if even.

PS: And the title is totally misleading, I thought you were going to complain about its align speed, which is more then fine for a battleship size vessel.

I think the Noctis is fine as it is. It doesn't need a extra of anything in my opinion... And it absolutely doesn't need a cloak, would encourage too many ninja salvagers.

Yes, Noctis is more then fine.

I do use a cloak on it though to park it in gank risky regions ... and a cov ops without a probe launcher makes no sense either ... and is totally unnecessary, that's what the cov op frigs are for ... they got salvage boni too.

And to the OPs defense, I believe he calls loot and salvage just 'salvage'.

Still an unfounded observation and unnecessary suggestion with actully only the typical 'beacaue I want´s it' justification.

I started a fire here!!!

Maybe I should give a little more back ground here.
My Noctis is only used in Wspace and Null.
Yes I put a cloak on my Noctis while it waits for me to clear the site.
Yes I fit all tractors to pull everything in then refit to all salvage to salvage.
The MTU is way to slow to get in and out quickly so I drop a MTU to collect cans that drop as I salvage.
So just because most people only salvage in Carebear space doesn't mean that everyone does.
Once you dump your MTU and or Mobile depot as salvage 1 day and go 5 jumps threw a WH chain (or hostel Null space) and find out only then that you don't have it in you cargo will you understand why a separate bay for salvage or "loot" from your mods you use is handy.

Maybe I am the only person out there doing this.. I would hope not.

Thanks

Worm

P.S. I am not looking for a covert Noctis here that would be dumb.

....

Same as I do, only difference I drop the MTU AND pick it up with the combat ship, it never get mixed with the salvage/loot.

And I do not refit either 4/3/cloak or 4/4 does the job fine. Cause you only tractor the far wrecks, while salvaging the ones the MTU already pulled. If you warp early, you start with the Noctis with the far end he can reach, that way the tractor pulls only near wrecks or the over 96km ones as an addition.

The combat ship with the MTU is already on the way to the next site, while the Noctis finished off and cloaks again.

There is absolutely no need for an extra bay. Especially not a salvage bay, since salvage items are limited in number and small in size. Loot isn't though.
