an implant has a volume of 1m3...

I really want to know how CCP has managed to stuff a 1m3 implant into Our toons heads?? With the usual 5 implants that boost attributes... thats 5m3 volume...

Is the humanoids in EVE gigantic??

Please reduce volume to more credible sizes for implants lol

That 1m³ volume is only for cargo purposes. The extra space is packaging for transport.

That's like the 5m3 modules that reprocess into larger volumes of minerals.

Could also be that the majority of the space is for the injector to actually implant the implant.

If the reason for this change is because it's unrealistic, then there is no need to change.

If the change is because you want to haul more of them at the same time, then yes do this ASAP.

Well, the way it works is that each implant opens a small wormhole in the cranial cavity that leads into a closed pocket of J-space where each implant is assembled into it's 10m3 full size and then a sub-space link is established between the capsuleers brain and the implant. This is also why implants are not recoverable, the mass limit on the wormhole prevents anything from going in after the implant even if the body were to be recovered intact and alive, if the body is in a state other than alive then the wormhole closes since it uses the micro-charge of living cells to artificially extend the lifetime of the wormhole for the life of the capsuleer, thus when the capsuleer turns into a fragmented meat-cicle the wormhole expires and the implant is lost and will eventually be reprocessed into a Sleeper. Those implants are tiny, but very, very delicate and therefore they need the extra wrapping to preserve them.

Or, most likely, it is to make sure people don't go crazy moving valuable implants in small fast ships.

Cloaking is the closest thing to a "Pause Game" button one can get while in space.

this....lol.

There packaging is odd. Get some boxes that are basically cardboard sleeves for say books. then you get the huge as box that has enough air bags you can use them in a high speed collision to wrap a small item.

And then you get the highly delicate measuring tool with a cardboard wrapper and an inch of air, no bags or other packaging

I can only guess their tool was delivered the same way

Maybe make some implants larger than others. That way, people can compare the size of their implants. P

Implants are partially organic to help interface with the clone's neural tissue. They cannot be casually stored, but need a carefully controlled life support system to maintain their viability until they are implanted in a clone's head.

That, or magic.

probably suppositories.

You forgot the hole team that is performing the brain surgery on you to plug those implants to the right synapses they are supposed to go to.
