Sure, but EVE is that crazy redhead that will cut you for being unfaithful.

plus, she's likely to give you a disease. Sometimes being cut isn't that bad of a thing.

It will not replace EVE for me, it will only supplement it.

EVE and Star Citizen do not offer the same thing, and for that I will love both of them even more.
So no, EVE will not die because of alleged 'competitors'... because there are none.

I swear I heard someone's head explode reading that.

Lemme know where, so I can scoop their loot, k?

I don't think Eve Online has anything to worry about. It's got the perfect Trinity of Sandbox, Single Shard, and PVP at it's very core. That combination is unique and valuable. Sure, there are lots of people who drop their subscriptions and head off to latest and greatest MMO, but why should CCP not make a little money off those who would try new things? Those inclined to leave are going to leave anyway. Those inclined to stay are going to stay regardless of what comes out due to a desire to build something up, rather than be an MMO vagabond.

Elite: Dangerous ftw.

Sorry, but it's already laying the smackdown on SC. But you're right, as much time as I've spent on Elite, I've spent twice that on EVE. It's not competition to this.
I'm looking forward to seeing how elite dangerous plays. I loved elite back in the day.

Not at all, EvE is the geeky one that would rather get wet over a book than put out. She encourages you to have someone else to play with.

Poasting in a nerf livestream thread.

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.

This must be about "Meow Mix Online".

Meow Mix Online is an MMO being directed entirely towards cats by CCP in an effort to cut down on the amount of cats running anoms and AFK Cloaking. The goal is to have cats ask for it by name.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Wait so you are trying to tell me that not only is Perpetuum still around, but they are making enough money to pay for advertisement on EvE's Livestream?

EVE doesn't really need a reason. Being in the same room can be enough

Oh damn... are you still around :P

One of the 4 types of products competitors... those ;)

So basicly any other game you can play behind a PC online

I prefer to play in front of my PC

And I have yet to find a game which can compete with EvE.

Maybe if you could suggest one, I would leave as you seem to want.

I'm going to go with skyrim. There is bound to be a mod for that.
