Im not mad.

And yes, the addition of links sours it for me. Seeing someone kick ass without links makes me inspired. Crazy fit link ships, while interesting, get old quick because you can tell the only reason they even have that shot against 25 opponents is the links. Maybe im unfairly biased against links. I dont know. Just seems like a cheat.

And no i dont claim im good at this game. Just my own opinion on linked videos

Trash tier falcon pilots



Ive been in A4D for 6+ months and haven't been in one fleet yet that has had a falcon. I've heard others say this before so maybe in the past the corp relied on ECM alot. Not while ive been with them. And im on very regularly in fleets all the time.

As for trash tier what are you basing that on? For corps of similar size / small gang, im pretty sure our killboard is respectable.

I'm not really sure you're on the moral highground when you berate me for using links while you're voluntarily in a corp that is known for linked blobs with logi, falcons, and rapiers. If links didn't exist I would be happy as everyone would be on the same level. However, I'm not the only person that uses links in this game. Fighting an unlinked gang while in a linked solo ship still takes skill, fighting a linked gang in a linked solo ship takes skill and a bit of luck, but fighting a linked gang in an unlinked ship is usually just mathematically impossible.

Honestly, I don't really care if you approve. I didn't come here searching for your approval. I came here to post a fight I thought was entertaining to watch.

I wonder which one is more fair. 2 guys in faction frigs with uncommon fits vs a small gang of 25 people. Links or not you have to hand it to OP that he managed to juggle several frigs to keep them out of their optimals while killing off several of them. That is a good sign of piloting in my eyes. He wasn't even in a ROFLIPOINTU60KMWHILEGOING10KM/S garmur so all the frigs had a chance to take him down.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Well said. I concede the point and admit my initial attitude comes from a prejudice against any type of linked combat. Let's just call it the result of too many losses to pilots who are linked, but think they are still solo and awesome.

As for my corp, like I said above I haven't seen one fleet in six months that has a falcon, and rarely do I ever see a rapier. Never once have I been in a linked fleet with them. Maybe that was how A4D did things in the past but I haven't seen it. We mainly fly small gang T1 cruiser gangs with logi support, and at most ship up to armor HACS with T2 logi.
