I was even stupid enough to pay this person a month of gametime.

Congratulations for using my weakness to your advantage, Don Purple.

I bet it would have been a *killing blow* ...
... and definitely something for your track record to be proud of ...
... if you hadn't made this mistake of exposing too much of yourself in this thread.

Incident 2: Same war. Different guy. One of my guys finds a Covetor in a belt one system over. He tackles the ship and says he'll hold it until everyone can come in and ***** on the killmail. And so we ALL come. In battleships, battlecruisers, logistics... yes, we were bored.
And then, in a fit of insanity, we began to all shoot AND rep the ship. For 15 minutes. Just savoring the kill. Lol And then we accidentally popped his ship (no, seriously... we wanted to keep going!). And then we nabbed the guy's pod. And then tried an experiment to see how many drones a pod can tank under 2 logi ships (the answer is 20 Warrior IIs Shocked).

I have no regrets.

I tried to reason with butthurt bears on the forums and help them understand some of the realities of EVE.
It's a bad habit, and I still catch myself trying to do it sometimes.

Now I understand some concepts can only be properly delivered through interpretive blasterfire.

Also, there may have been some inappropriate fedo touching that happened on a drunken saturday night, but I can't be sure.
It just hides under the bed now and stares at me while shaking incessantly.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

This was shortly after I created my own corporation about a year and a half ago:

Chapter 1:

New to the CEO thing, one quickly learns of the recruitment channel. About a week 15 new corp members later, I had recruited a...let's say unique...new EVE player who seemed quiet intelligent and promising at the time.

I logged on the next day to 3 incoming private conversations from my corp members including my director who had complaints about this new guy. In short they revealed he was a bit of a toss and full of himself, viciously insulting his corp members and he was apparently more or less 10 years old in RL when he hopped on our TS. He demanded several corp roles and cried and raged so hard when I simply said no.

As a new CEO, I tried to keep him around and wrote him warning emails detailing what he had done wrong and why I was warning him and what I expected of my corp members. I tried to be the good guy, holding my tongue, gritting my teeth. The third time it happened, he had decided it was a good idea to try and get us recruited by a major alliance and embarrassed us completely. I was furious that he had gone over my authority and kicked him immediately and banned him from TS, much to the approval of my corp members.

So enraged by this, he returned to our corp recruitment channel and spewed the worst insults his 10 year old mind could come up with. Immediate ban from our channel. Numerous insulting emails later, I block him.

Chapter 2:

About two weeks after this, I was spamming in the EVE recruitment channel drinking a cold one as one does. In an interval of no spam, a character I had never seen or heard of before come into the channel and says he is looking for a war dec corp in our corp home region. I didn't think to much of it and continued spamming. This character just lets loose into me and my corp ad at no provacation! Profanities and insults fill the channel, all directed at me. From the style and spelling/grammar errors I deduct it's the original guys alt! I just tell him to shut up and go and play WOW. *Rage and profanity intensifies*

A pair of other chat dwellers begin to lay into him and ask him if he is mad and such. He begins to direct his attacks onto them. I told the channel why he was so angry; he was 10 years old IRL and whined when he wasn't granted roles in my corp. The big trolls began to stir. Apparently, I'm justified by my actions and they side with me against him. It turned sinister very quickly as the alt began to spew RL threats at me. It's enough to bring the remaining channel spam to a complete halt. Ah.. it was glorious. All the trolls came out to play and tore him to pieces. I remember sometime in the commotion I said "Watch how he attacks those around him in a fit of noobishness."

I believe he ragequit soon after that comment. I haven't seen him log in to this day. Not sure if he was banned for RL threats or what.

I recruited about 10 great corp members who had witnessed this hilarity and decided I was a fun CEO. Cool

I was a director in a friends executor corp of an alliance.

I was bored one day and kicked all the member corps, disbanded alliance and kicked all my corp members. Stole all ISK and stole CEO position with an alt I had brought in. Put a password on all their intel and recruitment channels so no one could enter. Changed the corp description to trololol and I quit corp. The alt still controls the corp. My friend logged in inside a wormhole with a capsule and no corp or alliance.

Not sure if he still plays EVE. No one ever comes on his alliance TS server. I have no idea if they know it was me.

There was disappointingly few tears.

Maybe the worst thing ive done was when someone brought a returning player into my pub, he talked about how excited he was to be playing again. He bought several plex to get started again and he didnt feel safe moving them. He was a nice guy so I offered to move them for him. He quit eve within 5 hours of re subbing. Offered to take him out for beers but he didnt want that.

Awoxed my own brother
Scammed a RL friend out of 1b his first month
Seen 27 pilots quit on one of my war campains
Awoxed my self

Quoting for Truth.

The upside for him is that people like him do not feel bad about what they are doing.
The downside is that he will keep making other people feel really, really bad.

I am glad I noticed early enough, before I took serious damage.

I once worked with a dude that had director roles on a char in a corporation inside the same alliance he was exec CEO of. I posted this story before once in the Pirate Story thread. The target corporation was marked because their CEO enjoyed making drama over trivial matters, and was knowlingly threatening and insulting our lowsec indy allies.

In short: this dude I worked with turned off a POS forcefield, which we proceeded to camp while my associate started moving a few billion in assets. Some of these found their way into our member's hangers as a way of thanking us, and we got some expensive kills on the target corp from people logging in / warping to the tower. To add even more injury we wardecced the target corp and replaced their POCO's in hisec with our own.

That corp CEO hasn't been playing and his corp is a dead shell, most members have left. We essentially "griefed" someone out of his leadership position. We also liberated their corp members from sperglord oppression, I have no regrets. It was a fun op for our corp and my associates.

My evilest endeavor was driving Tank CEO to a nervous breakdown in the EVE mIRC channel. Of course, I cannot go into detail on the forums.

My very first reverse safari. I stole literally everything this person had in the game - 4b worth of stuff he'd accumulated while grinding in HiSec over the years. Then Psychotic Monk and some friends joined in with me and we blew up the guy's last ship, his faction Golem - but not before ransoming his very last drop of ISK. He hasn't logged in since.

Before that... it was probably when I was in Dark Fusion Industries on another toon. This corp had a "ruling class elite" who were pretty douchey... so when they finally gave me POS access in the form of "Config Starbase Equipment", I stole all their towers. On my way out I reported about 5 people who openly shared their accounts - none of them ever logged in again.

I have no regrets.
