Good evening or whatever time it is when youre reading this...

This wont leave my mind now...
The problem:
I have margin trading 3 , i put up a buy order of 2 items of19M each
the buyorder has just been fullfilled and my wallet is now 38M lighter:
I quadruple checked it ... Did i get something completely wrong about margin trading here???

shouldnt i just have to pay a fraction of the buy orders price when it goes true??? and didnt i already pay when i set up the order?

These werre the las 2 of 5 items of that order but shouldnt it calculate per item? pr do i get addional pas when the full buyorder ends?

I don't know.

But I will say that I had no idea people trained margin trading for anything but scamming.

Margin Trading doesn't mean you pay less, just that less is placed in escrow when you set up the buy order.
When someone fills the order, you still pay the full price you set up, of course.

Yes exactly , so i shouldnt pay the full price of the buyorder when it gets fullfilled.
Because i only had to pay a part when i set it up and now i should have had to pay the rest of the sum.

But instead i payed the full amount when it got true wich wouldnt even be possible with mt 5 .

Wait, you said your wallet was set back 38M. Well, 19 x 2 = 38. Are you saying you payed 38M plus escrow on top?
In that case, it sounds like petition time.

ISK comes out of escrow first.

The first three items you bought wiped out the escrow you placed. So you had a buy order for 2 items with 0 escrow after the first three fifths of your order filled.

If you put an order down for 5 items costing 20m ISK each, you placed (w/ MT 3) ~40m ISK in escrow.
Someone sold you the first item > Nothing comes out of your wallet, escrow is down to 20m
Second item > Nothing from your wallet, escrow down to zero
Third, fourth, fifth item > Full price out of your wallet.
