So I noticed Turrets will no longer keep firing after reload.

It's to stop bot aspirant POS removals. (surprised CODE. hasn't started selling licences for this afk gameplay yet).

Having to press F1 again every so often is such effort isn't it ? almost like you actually have to play the game....

Keep in mind that we never support AFK gameplay. There was a fairly recent instance of an oracle ganked by a bunch of catalysts during a low sec pos bash though.

But the Revelation doesn't need to reload :)

Letting those guns fire continuously is a great way to ensure you won't have a dreadnought for long.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

No, they feed automatically, but when you have to retract a missile battery to reload all the tubes, and then re-extend it, it makes since to require an action to start firing again.

Because it can't auto detect when it is reloaded? You do realize that there are weapons that exist today that do not require human interaction. The fact that in EvE systems have to load in groups instead of continuous loading is also baffling.

In other words, if I have 1200 rounds available the weapons shouldn't stop firing until all rounds are gone.

More EvE logic. "let's stop botters by making systems that make no sense".
