I'm having an issue with setting the over-view states for a certain tab.

What I want is ONLY fleet, corp, alliance and blues.

I have filtered out all the ones I don't want, such as bad/terrible standings, at war, criminal, neut etc.

It's the 'NO STANDINGS' that is a problem. By filtering that out, all good, excellent, alliance, fleet etc are also filtered out, and only CORP shows, and when I add 'No Standings' to the filter, they show up... BUT so do all the neuts.

I'd think that by filtering out 'Pilot has no standings', that alliance, corp, fleet etc would still be visible, as they are in the 'Not Filter Out' section.

Am I missing something or is there a bug somewhere??

Cheers.

Download Sarah's overview pack.
Import Sarah's overview pack.

Pick the one you like the best. Stop worrying about it.

I've just tried it on my overview and I managed to get all the no standings removed, whilst still showing blues. The only thing that could explain why its not working for you is the appearance tab of the overview settings. Try moving the no standing line right to the bottom, see if that works.

Edit: Just tried and it doesn't make any difference moving 'no standings' around.

As helpful as that link is, it still doesn't resolve this issue.

By removing 'Pilot has no standing' from filters... it applies to ALL pilots, even if they are in alliance or fleet.

If having 'Pilot is in your alliance' is NOT FILTERED OUT shouldn't they be visible, even if there are no personal standings applied.

This is something that CCP has failed to address in the new over-view update.

As far as I know there's no good way to do this. You can set corp/fleet/positive standings to override negative, but if you uncheck other filters that apply to that person they won't appear on the list regardless of what you do have checked.

If someone has a way to get ONLY and ALL Fleetmates Corpmates and Blues on overview, please let me know. The above information may be incorrect, but I've never gotten this tab to work the way I want it to.

Unchecking a state removes those pilots from the overview, regardless of their other states. That means you can't remove "no standing" without losing corp/fleet memebers etc that have no standing. This has been a problem for a long time. There's no way to do it without specifically assigning standing to the people you want on your overview.

I haven't really looked into to the overview since the patch so my guide is a little outdated. As far as I know they haven't fixed the problem you have, but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Cara sums it up, I don't believe there is a way to filter out the neuts. Eve Uni's guide pretty much confirms this 'feature'.
