I understand what it means, it refers to an entire group of people, and when you substitute it for something that means bad, stupid, or in some way lesser, you are insulting that group of people. Further, because you are assuming it means Homosexual, and you think I'm being insulting, that means that you think its an insult to be called homosexual.

Second, cishet man, I wasn't offended by Ramona's post. Please, think I'm straight. It's cute when people assume that about me (never mind the fact that I have a girlfriend.... sexuality is a scale, not an "on or off"). It's even more adorable when straight boys think they're doing some kind of service to the world by jumping on someone's crap for a percieved "homophobic" comment. You want to really help the GLBT community, how about voting for marriage equality?

(and, PS: not to play further into this crap, but in most situations, the word "homo", when used as slang for "gay" is about as offensive as heterosexual people think "straight" is..... that one's rarely used as an insult, anymore)

I am not offended and do not really care if others are offended.I also agree that sexuality is variable. It actually believe, if people were honest, that sexuality runs along a bell curve throughout the population. I was just calling the troll post for what it is. I am a Devil's Advocate and enjoy throwing down occasionally especially when the bait is hit so quickly and the side stepping starts instantly.

And yes I missed the space on that. Taxonomy was never my favorite aspect of biology.

What have I said in ANY post that implied I was insulting him?

Its pun based on the word "hobo"

He wasnt offended, I didnt intend it as an insult and the only people bent out of shape here are white knights who seem to think that there's something wrong with being gay in the first place.
