1. If you don't like to be wardecced then stay in NPC corp
2. or make oneman corp just for yourself
3. You can be with your friends via private channels

There is simply no reason to be in corp if you are in hi-sec.

If you join hisec non PvP corp then you just sign "hey everyone.....here i am..im an easy target"

just imagine some [gay-voice] "sweet lean young boy dressed in pink [/gay-voice] somewhere in the middle of Texas.
Thats what non-PvP corps are in hisec..........i mean in whole EVE.

This is griefing. All they want is to kill new players in high sec, and the game is handing it to them. I honestly don't know what recourse we have left other than buy enough Plex to dump billions of ISK into bounties and hope they get the message.

Nukington,

For your pansied heresies against the EvE traditions of HTFU, a +1 was added to the Kill-It-Forward queue.

An innocent carebear had his pimpmobile murdered in hisec in your name.

Your heresies, our hands, their blood, your conscience.

When these f#$ing incessant cries for nerfs to EvE stop, we will stop. Until then it is you griefing other innocents as the result of your heresies, our inquisitors are innocent instruments of HIS holy will.

Greetings capsuleer!

If you recall, earlier you shot at me because I looted (1) Metal Scrap from one of your wrecks. I want you to know that your death (Kill: [redacted] (Megathron Navy Issue)) was nothing personal, but was not without purpose. You see my comrades and I are engaged in holy war against the heretics that spew filth and cry out against the ideaology of HTFU, which is what has made EVE Online what it is today.

Your death was apart of our lovely program we call, "Kill it forward". The heresies of Lord Nukington could not go unanswered, so justly a kill was added to the queue. If you seek compensation for your loss, Lord Nukington should be more than happy to reimburse you. I know it seems that you're an innocent bystander caught in this holy war, and for this I must urge you to turn to a career of excitement and joy. Join me and my comrades in our war and all will be revealed.

It appears that you're a newer player and I welcome you to EVE Online - It's a cold, dark universe here in New Eden and you'll want some friends to guide you along to teach you how to play. Our goal is not to deter new bros from EVE, but to enrich their lives through emergent gameplay. If you are at all the least bit curious in how you can enjoy one of the more exciting aspects of the game, please contact me. In the meantime you can take a look at these few blog posts:

Oh, gods..... this thread, again.

You have two options to combat wardec griefers:

1. Hire mercs to fight them for you.
2. Learn to fight back (and keep an eye out for neutral logi)

Pity I didn't see this until now.

Let me introduce myself, I'm the currently leader of the Gents, and all around trusty guy, Savnire. Call me Sav for short.

I'm sure if you convo me in game we can make some type of agreement to end this petty conflict. I'm not some evil man who hates everyone, I'm just a different breed of player. One that enjoys the finer things; Like top hats, scotch, and killing ships in high sec, low sec, and sometime wormholes. And looking at the report, you have provided us with this, and plenty of corpses (we collect them) to stash in our meat locker. I will not pretend to have done this for a reason, it was random, a name drawn from a top hat, and thus I am willing to put an end to it.

After all we are Gentlemen.

Nah the post does have a purpose. First, the noob can reach out and get advice. While he has got mostly trolling, he has gotten some good pointers and advice.

And also, complaints like these do serve a purpose. While Eve is a sandbox that players need to adapt to, CCP does implement controls on the sandbox. For instance, when making POSes open for everybody in high sec, they put on a control that a new corp has to wait a week to put up a POS to prevent people from corp switching when they get wardecc'd.

While the OP had many complaints, and overall he was complaining about griefing, he did mention the specific point of his attackers switching corps to perpetuate ward declarations at reduced cost. This may be something CCP should take note of. It does seem like something that could be perceived as an exploit type activity and may be changed. I doubt it, because it used to take 24 hours to drop a corp and now it takes no time at all, so CCP has gone the other direction in terms of corp switching.

I'm not really putting up this response to make a particular argument. However, 'noob complaints' do serve purposes and some of their points are valid. The thread will not be locked and does serve a purpose.

Good. If he didn't learn from his first loss, then the game is probably not for him anyway. Also, "not just podded, but killed" doesn't make sense because by virtue of being podded, you are being killed. It would help to have some basic understanding of the game at least before tackling it head on let alone attempting to criticise its features.

Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

The beautiful bit about this game is the players are in charge of most of it. You can never EVER count on being strictly a PVE character because anyone can undock and blow you away (yea, they will suffer the consequences, but they can still do it). We don't play it for the shiny ships or the colorful laser, we play it for the sandbox. Instead of whining like a small pitiful malnourished wallaby I encourage you to embrace that aspect and fight back. Put twenty dudes in suicide Rifters and come gank our most expensive ship. Field a couple griffins. Or just keep mining in hulks and we'll keep smoking them like fat rolls of herb. It is entirely up to you.

Not that this poor guy will even bother reading this as he has been ridiculed for just being a new character and trying to play the game...

But one of my favorite things to do during a grief dec is to counter grief the dec'ing pilots... get in a cloaky ship, fly out to the butt end of nowhere at the end of a corridor and sit in space cloaked at a deep safe. I've routinely got the attention of guys who would follow me all the way out, and then they sat on the other side of the gate in a couple of loki's waiting for me to come back, meanwhile they were at war with a dozen other groups (some were not carebears either). They sat on that gate for hours (or at the very least every time I checked the PC while I was doing tasks and worthwhile RL stuff.

Or you can always bait them to follow you through a corridor and then talk to other groups they have dec'd about setting up a counter camp for when they get tired of trying to find you or waiting for you that they go home. We caused a griefer corp to lose several shiny machariels to that once.

Also as has been mentioned before, you can use 3 characters per account, if you are perma-dec'd on your primary, then pause the training and start a new character, try different things and give yourself an option for expanding your horizon and available gameplay options.

We get the occasional griefer dec, and occasionally self inflicted as we tend to grief the griefers or gankers a lot. Our first task is recon, who are they, how serious, past war history, how many, known associates, and if they are after POCOs or POS. Then we proceed to enter "War Mode", towers get extra ships/materials sent back to station, full guns onlined, PVP ships prepped and empty clones activated (or at least not shiny clones). Ride out the war, track your targets as they track you, Locator Agents and alts as scouts. You don't need to take your loots to Jita this week, it can wait til next week (Though that hasn't stopped us from hauling billions in the freighter when the coast was confirmed 200% safe).

Not saying you won't lose ships, you will, and each one will be a lesson you better learn for the next time.

I've encountered things like this before, aggravating, and very effective to make me not go after you again.

This is something I wish happened more often, it would make life far more interesting.

One thing I can never stress enough, ALWAYS, research your targets.
