Today I tried something new, jumped to a Gurista site and fought off all the Rats(is that how u call them?)

Anyway it took a long time and I felt there was not very good reward.

Do you get the bounty in ISK or do you have to claim that somewhere.

After the last guy was defeated and I went through the loot I felt like I wasn't done. Did I miss something?

This was all in high sec, is low/null very different.

Tx for replies.

(never mind the bounty I found that part in journal).

Loot will vary most is generic on occasion you will get valuable loot or access to sites with a chance of valuable loot these when this happens it is called an escalation. Loot is randomized so it is never a sure thing of valuable drops. And yes low and null have better drops and better chances of drops.

Always willing to help all you have to do is ask, though if you're in the other fleet I may not help the way you want. Just a heads up. Pub Channel: Lost Souls Trading Post

Not all that familiar with them but what I can add is sometimes you need to shoot structures to find the loot.

OP, Yes its a grind and sometimes the last "Boss" ship will drop a nice piece of loot. There usually is a couple of variations to each ANO but not sure. Google each one. I run many of those and only once a $50m item dropped.

The ISK bounty is paid automatically into your wallet after a short delay (tick). People will assess how profitable the ratting is by calculating it in terms of "ISK per tick". You just need to look for when the wallet on your neocom flashes.

You will know you get an escalation when a little screen pops up with some flavor text after you kill all the rats (btw this is short for pirate's) you will then find in your journal tab a new location you can go to and these fights have bigger bounty and higher chances of bosses at the end of them.
