EVE on Windows PC and Laptop

I'm thinking of putting EVE on a new laptop for holidays etc.

Can someone please confirm what files/folders I would need to copy over?

Could I run EVE successfully from a memory stick or memory card?

If all the player data is held on the EVE server could I just start playing again on the PC without having to copy anything back?

I tried it last year on a netbook - but I think it was too underpowered to work.

Anything else I should consider as I'm typing from a position of advanced ignorance?

Grateful for any help.

Thanks for finding the link. I hadn't realised it would be that complicated.

As I want an exact copy I was simply going to find all EVE and CCP folders (not logs etc.) and files on my PC and copy them across.

I'll see what happens.

I just copied the "settings" folder between my two computers in the past and that's it. Maybe you make a simple test to find out. Time by time I moved the log files to my main installation. Actually I am playing on one PC only.
