I'm getting serious lag while trying to use blueprints. Its taking forever for them to load. I already submitted a ticket, was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same problem?

May I have your stuff?

I had similar problems, when starting jobs my frame rate was dropping below 20 frequently as it tried to slowly re-refresh the list of blueprints it kept insisting on showing me. Heck, my framerate would drop when my brother installed a job through the client on his PC and viceversa, we even would notice the dropped framerate even with the industry screen minimized.

This has settled somewhat once we got back to working out of our POS and only dealing with a small handful of blueprints at a time when having the POS array selected and the module type filter applied. But regardless, if you are working out of a station hangar its terrible and takes more time to find the appropriate filter (if one is even applicable) than it does to just grin and bear the lag.

I mean yeah sure, we can more quickly submit large batches of the same job now with much less clicking, but this lag seems to be uncalled for and completely unnecessary.

Lag and a bit of the "No you can't submit, but if you press the red start button anyway I will kick the job off" silliness

Hello,

It takes 20+ seconds to load all my blueprints when i first log on. After this is done once they can all be found and/or loaded quickly. Considering I have thousands in many systems i have learned to accept it. I do love the new indy window. -chuk

We work out of a POS, actually. I'll hit "use blueprint" and and nothing happens, for like, forever. The longest one I timed was 7 minutes.

All the other tabs work just fine. I've been doing this from my max range. Heading back home today, maybe it will get less glitchy the closer I get to the POS? I guess we'll see.....

im loading BPs on can and having the windows open only the cans. before patch it was working slow (i have thousands) now its unbearable. only moving them to local inventory and loading them from that spot works. but its hardly a solution.

im sure its just some bug that can be fixed, maybe tomorrow.

I really hope CCP don't just leave the current UI and call it done. Some optimization to make it more responsive would be lovely. Installing blueprints quickly can cause some real weird issues. Sometimes the list doesn't update with blueprints that have been used if your corp members put jobs in either.

There's definitely some bugs with the new industry window. If you change blueprint as soon as you hit the 'start' button the blueprint highlight in the list will be moved, however the industry window still have the previous one 'selected' and if you then press start again, you will start a job with the previously selected blueprint.
I've also tried having the entire window lock up several times where the list doesn't update at all and none of the buttons work at all.

In general whenever I select a new blueprint, it takes a second or more for the window to actually load all the data for that blueprint and before I can press the start button for that blueprint. If I don't wait, the thing that I mentioned above happens and I'll instead start a new job with the blueprint that I selected away from.
I'm hoping CCP takes another pass on the industry window and fixes the various bugs that might crop up and look into the speed side of things. I'm wondering what the window is doing that's making it take so long to load the data...

CCP is new to you, right?

Lag and outright lockups after today's patch reported in Hyperion issues thread.
