I feel that we have come out ahead regarding this. I mean after all, I was free to head to the beach this past weekend.

Let me help you understand how to properly throw a fight.

Step 1: Win your first match
Step 2: Bet against yourself for the second match
Step 3: Show up to the second match in ventures
Step 4: Profit

You're Welcome.

Let me try.

Step 1: Have someone pay entry fee
Step 2: Accept payments
Step 3: BEACH!
Step 4: Profit.

That isn't profit, that is just screwing over clockwork. Go ahead and use that as your next excuse if you want.

You are leaving out the important part about the beach though! Fantastic weather, no rain just sun. Ocean was that nice sort of cold but not like freezing, that nice medium of refreshing. I think we need beaches in EVE now, Space Beaches for all!

You're going with the "lol we didn't want that [system/ship/POS/match] anyways" defense?

No I am going with the sand, sun and fun defense. Although I might just be lazy, but libations with umbrellas in them sounds a lot better than practice! (Although I will admit that wifi beach to watch twitch was great!)

What about the Loyalanon tears over the permaban from all future Alliance Tournaments? Doesn't sound like he was hanging out with you at the beach.

Tell me then, what are the properties of the excuse you guys wouldn't cry about ?

How about this?

Guys, we royally screwed up. We never even got 12 people to x up, we didn't have a team, and we didn't really hold any practices. We were desperately looking for any excuse to cover up our own incompetence, so when RvB banned some gank ships we decided to just mass log off and concoct a tale of a 200 billion isk bribe to throw the match. It was obviously all a farce the entire time, and we humbly apologize for the humiliation we have brought upon our alliance and the entire Eve community. We will strive to improve in the future, and accept the justified permanent ban from all future Alliance tournaments.

Loyalanon,

I just find you all scrambling to find an excuse extremely funny.

We are laughing at you, not crying. You haven't figured that out yet?

But shouldn't it be at least consistent? I mean how can we mass logoff the team if there is no team? And how does this reflect the fact that we completely won the whole thing?

What's wrong with: "we don't care, lulz. umadbro?". I mean it is much shorter and you could just man up a bit and not cry about it. That would be so much easier for everyone.

The few people who showed up logged off. And you lost and were permabanned. And you do care because loyalanon left a stream of tears on the forum. How about facing up to the truth, bro?

Loyalanon personally assured me that CODE was paid 200 billion to throw the match. I am certain he is not the type of guy to just make this up to cover up for himself. Please follow minerbumping.com over the next few days for further details.

Cool. So I suppose each of the supposedly 300 Code members will be receiving roughly 667 mil.
