Always remember seeing posters for this movie at the local VHS rental place when I was kid. Never saw it until much later.

Uneven effort.

33:00-36:00 is classic, though.

(Krixtal here......but he's on "vacation")

I had the pleasure of actually seeing this in the theater upon release when I was 12. I won't ever forget it.

I was already working my first job when this movie came out, never was able to get the night off to see it in the theatre. Saw it years later on video. Classic.

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

Me either, I'll never forget that one. Kind of a combination of any artful hand-animated and poorly voice-dubbed thing, with red and black inked-over footage of mechanized Wehrmacht, made into Nazgul-esque creatures. And some long hypnotice Arctic starkness scenes that went on forever. Overlain with a kind of mismatched haunting folky female vocalist ballad thing.

Altogether, very trippy, but probably due more to discombobulated planning and editing, than to intention. Bad story, brilliant visuals. (Where are you Krixtal? Smile) But whatever, that was a film you left in a different mindframe than the one you came in with, no doubt.

People just were not in the mood for it what with Star Wars just being out.
