I know a SB would be faster/better

But is possible to do it in an interceptor? Or would it take too long

It would be utterly pointless. Interceptors just don't do enough damage to make it worth it.

I'm doubtful about the whole idea too, but the Taranis can do AF style damage.

Yeah, I think I heard of someone doing it in a Taranis a long time ago, to fix their security status. That's why the idea was in my head. But I don't know about the current state of them, or if it would even be possible with other ones, like the Malediction.

I wouldn't rat in an AF either.

If it's possible with any interceptor, it would be the Taranis. What I'd advise is a more substantial ship, like a PVE worm. The fact that you bring up the interceptors specifically makes me think that you want the safety of bubble immunity. Why not use a similarly agile hull but avoid the majority of bubbles by traveling through wormholes instead of gates? You can avoid the majority of dangerous pipes this way. When you reach a system, check kill statistics to see if it's safe to rat there. If it isn't, find another wormhole and see where it leads.

I wouldn't rat in any of the ship mentioned in this thread.

Neutron Taranis, AB web scram, SAR, Mag stab and overdrive.

I ratted like that for a bit, but as has been said earlier it is a bit low on dps and hence slow at making ISK.
The good points are it is great for blitzing belts in a system for finding clone rats / faction spawns or catching other ratters for pew. I guess now they're also bubble immune so pretty safe going through null.

I think my Mal gets like... 91 DPS with great skills.
It kills frigates in hi-sec fine, but I dunno if it would even kill anything bigger.

Get a T3 and rat in comfort with a cloak and nullified hull.

AFs are fine, but yeah... they take about 2-3x as long to kill the worth while BS in belts. Use a T3
