Just a quick question - can I build a T1 ship in an advanced assembly array? Ie, can you build a Raven in an Advanced Large Ship Assembly Array or do you need the normal one as well?

No you can't. I have tried it before.

Once anchored, Adv Large Ship Seembly Array will show you exactly what ships are supported. There are only three of them: Black Ops, Jump Freighter and Marauder.
